Thanks I was hoping someone had the latest prices to save me calling them or going there. I have used Cambodia Travel for the past 3 years. Last year they even took me to open a new account with Krungsri after they stopped dealing with Bangkok Bank. All for the same price as previously 12,500 baht. Unless I get some recent experience posted I will have to do as you suggested and visit or call them.

Does anyone have the latest agent prices for an agent obtained extension renewal. I am talking about an existing extension where already have a Thai bank account Krungsri and the agent provides the 800k. I know that last year before the Bangkok Bank scandal that proces were about 12.5k to 13k. I am mainly interested in Cambodia Travel on Soi Baukau and Maneerat on Soi Post Office. Thanks.

This is the correct information. Just to add, dont get your medical certificate until after you have the appointment date. They are only valid for 30 days and will have expired by the time you get an appointment. By the way a medical certificate is only 100 or 150 baht from one of the small clinics on Pataya Tai opposite Friendship supermarket.

I still keep my Bangkok Bank account as I have had it about 15 years and until last year I was using it for my retirement extension with Cambodia Travel. Had to open a new Krungsri account because they now deal with them, due to Bangkok Banks increased scrutiny of money laundering. Found Krungsri very easy to deal with. As a side note when transferring money via Wise. Bangkok Bank now takes 2 or 3 days where as Krungsri it arrives in seconds. As I still use BB for my main account I just transfer it over, easy enough.

Don't forget there are 2 immigration check areas. The one down the far end is always less busy than the one in the middle. I arrived on EVA air at 16.00 on New Years Day. There was hardly any queue, in fact my line only had 1 couple in front of me. I was processed very quickly. I was a little apprehensive after seeing the reports as I normally arrive with my wife and use the Thai queue. I was worrying unduely

What's your point? That's how it is over here. If he hadn't paid it would have been a weekend in jail and then 30k at the court. 10k is a great deal for a drink drive offense even if it is a bribe. Same happened to me years ago but it was 20k.
