  1. Samsung Repair Center - north side of the moat.
  2. Unless you want to swim across the river to enter Myanmar illegally, it's not happening.
  3. Use Google Lens to translate it but the main one is at Nakornping Fridays and Saturdays except public holidays 8-2. You'll likely also be able to get boosters at major District Hospitals as well.
  4. No surprise here. The odd thing is that it has taken this long to finally get a bit cold.
  5. You're not going to get a three star hotel on that budget but you can get a fairly basic apartment. Check out this group on FB - it only deals with listings under 10k baht. https://www.facebook.com/groups/218247338585479
  6. The name of nearly every one seemingly escapes you. NimCity, Nawarat, you actually got Promenada right and Meechok. Other branches - Kad Farang, Maya, San Sai and Mae Hia.
  7. Op filed it online which is run by Immigration out of Bangkok - CM Immigration does not run the online 90 day report system.
  8. Just go and do it in person - as long as you've got the TM30 slip for the CM address, you will be fine. Two minutes in and out at Central Festival.
  9. Kap moo - fried pork crackling is available at every market in Chiang Mai and most local food outlets - highly popular.
  10. You wouldn't wipe your backside with the Thailand - Australia FTA and this is no different.
  11. You're a clown if you believe that - this is the Chiang Mai forum, not somewhere down south. The outside temperature is predicted to get down to 17c next week in Chiang Mai city and much cooler in the mountains. The average minimum temperature in Chiang Mai city is 14 in January.
  12. I couldn't give you an actual temperature vs the rather more generic description of cold. I usually stop swimming early-mid November due to the water temp. Experiences may vary, for example if the pool has direct sunlight or heating.
  13. Closed and went on the market late last year/early this year.
  14. If you need to do a border run, go to Chiang Khong instead - the Laos border is open. There are vans doing the run and Green Bus also has a service from Chiang Mai.
  15. It changes depending on the season. Currently it's primarily coming from the east and southeast.
  16. With great difficulty - they are not designed to retain heat. Can be unpleasant before dawn in December and January in the North. For the last few years every year I say I'll buy a heater and I never do, though.
  17. Things must be really bad if Super Poll can't get a 97% approval rating for a senior government figure.
  18. They should be included in the rent payment. If you're in a private moo baan with pool and clubhouse, there will be a common fees but that is supposed to be part of your rent. Garbage fees should also be part of the rent and notably are not expensive - I live in San Sai just near the Doi Saket border and it costs us 300 baht for six months of garbage collection. You buy stickers from the local tambon office and put them on garbage bags to be collected.
  19. Is it ok to name other suppliers here when Asean Now has it's own designated advertiser? I'm just finished 2 grams of Green Crack from a shop that previously advertised here and is well known and I am very happy with it and would buy it again. Had primarily been buying stick from the same place which is also a good smoke, whereas their more exotic and expensive options I found to be hit and miss.
  20. Not sure if it's ok to name shops here or not but you can buy stick online, often in multiple variations and reasonably priced as in <100 baht/gr.
  21. See the results from the last election - his base is slowly dwindling. The North and Isan used to be uninterrupted red and slowly that is changing. Where do you think Anutin is getting votes from?
