you won't have to buy a new car nearly as often.
What about the batteries if the cost of a new battery pack is say 70% the cost of the vehicle ?
also longer lasting vehicles won't go down too well with manufactures perhaps they can persuade the governments to salt the roads all year round instead of just winter...must include all countries not having snow and ice where the salt can be marketed as extra road grip in the rain ????

Clinical trials for the new drug are ongoing, which is why you can’t buy it now.
As for the conspiracy theory that the new pill is Ivermectin, do you really believe that? Really? How old are you?
Remember the "horse de-wormer" hysteria about the "unmentionable" drug ?
a quote from the nature article above.
Molnupiravir began as a possible therapy for Venezuelan equine encephalitis virus at Emory University’s non-profit company DRIVE
No I don't really believe they are the same drug...what a scandal it would be if that where true !!
I don't see how my age comes into it but suspect you are trying to ridicule me, not that it worked but isn't that against forum rules ?

Don't worry nobody is coming.
I'm sure thousands of "Gungthepians" will drive to these events causing the horrendous traffic of yesteryears and providing a very temporary shot in the arm for Pattaya as we see at Jomtien beach on the weekends/long holidays.

Criticising the country ? I imagine lawsuits are being looked at, considered and mulled over.

The swab does not go near the brain, or the pineal gland. It's a nasal swab.
This reminds me of the ( Not The Nine O'clock News) joke about Colonel Gaddafi being shot in the head..doctors say he will make a full recovery as the bullet missed his brain by 12 inches ????

Desperation.
I suspect it's the low wage "slave labour" they want back in large numbers.

It’s amazing how quickly the Covid Denier Lie Factory works to spread their disinformation.
It's just coincidence that the very company that made the unmentionable drug that is now out of patent ( so no money for them) now has a shiny new drug that looks like it will be approved in record time ...how comes they don't need to do safety trials etc before this approval ?
It’s amazing how quickly the propaganda factory works too !

My car is now 7 years old, so I will need my first TorRorOr before getting my new tax sticker.
You need to look for a place displaying this sign
no need for appointment might take a while if they have others in front of you
but the inspection itself is very quick mostly they check the brakes are working, headlights, hooter and for excessive noise and smoke..my old bangers have never failed but all the above are always in working order when I take them for a test.

On that very piece of road just before the rider resumes "normal" riding position
I saw on of the craziest things I've seen on the road a sedan car came speeding past me and about 200 meters further on attempted to do a
( what I imagine was) full 360 handbrake turn right there on the busy Sukhumvit motorway the driver only managed about a 180 and almost ended up in the ditch to the far right but quickly regained composure and sped off again

Infection is not the same as death.
The unvaccinated have little defense against Covid infection. Do you disagree?
You have not answered my question as to what fights an infection or virus in the body
...but I will answer your question
the unvaccinated are at a disadvantage because their immune system has not been warned in advance so it is possible that the virus gets the upper hand in the fight in some people...however in most people 80% or more the immune system wins and they only suffer no to moderate symptoms unfortunately a small % of others develop bad symptoms and die.
So yes "infection is not the same as death" as the body's immune system does what it has evolved to do. You can catch Covid and not die, Do you disagree ?

Except that, without vaccination, the immune system is fairly defenseless against Delta infection.
Is that why so many people are without symptoms and don't die..or have the statistics changed now ?
last I looked more than 80% are asymptomatic and less than 1% die.
46 minutes ago, Chomper Higgot said:Or not.
If its not your own body's immune system that will save you what will ? and don't say the vaccine because that is incorrect...the vaccine as I said before and you yourself mention above just gives the body's immune system a "heads up"

Semantics.
Without vaccination, the immune system is less capable of warding off something bad happening.
Not semantics at all !! it goes to the very heart of the matter which is that the immune system itself not a vaccine fights the infection.

Science tells us how the vaccine is more effective than the body’s immune system in fighting off infection.
Perhaps it is you who are unaware of the science ? vaccines do not fight infections, they simply give the immune system a "heads up" or warning as to what an infection might look like so that when the "real" infection arrives the immune system is ready and prepared for the fight.

If i can manage to avoid infection, it will be the vaccine that saved me.
If you avoid infection then you won't get ill, but if you do get infected then perhaps it will be your own body's immune system that saves you ?

Well aren't they caught next time they try to pay their annual tax or sell the vehicle?
Apparently they still have not joined up the systems so there is no points on licence,no impact on insurance rates and no problems paying vehicle tax and insurance despite murmurs that these measures would be implemented. T.I.T
