So it could be 59 ,60,61 or 62 days depending on the months

Have you jumped here directly from the nineties?
Decide on the phone and package you want beforehand.
Many phones are still SIM locked to a particular network for instance the phones sold in 7/11 are locked to True, at AIS and Dtac shops they display 2 prices the cheaper price is for a monthly contract and SIM locked phone...not sure if the expensive price is unlocked or not ?
I'll have to ask next time I'm in there.

Yes Tukcom is still open, around half the phone shops have disappeared though they seem to be very slowly returning..I never could figure out how so many shops selling the exact same thing could make a profit all within in shouting distance of each other ?

Just to remind all, the Constitutional Court in response to a lawsuit brought by a foreigner recently ruled that "dual pricing" that charges foreigners much more than paid by Thai citizens for things like park admission fees was constitutional.
And just another reminder that the dual pricing also occurs at hospitals
and places like restaurants and "tourist attractions" where there is often a dual menu/price board one in latin numbers the other in Thai script and markets where pricing is not displayed at all.

I am quoting from the article that the moderator Scott linked to
https://apnews.com/article/fact-checking-970830023526
where they "fact check" this claim.
CLAIM: If you are unvaccinated, you can get COVID and have over 99% chance of survival. If you get vaccinated, you can STILL get COVID and will still have over 99% chance of survival.
Are you suggesting that the "fact checked" article is incorrect ?

Are we reading different articles ?

21 minutes ago, Scott said:from the article above. higher than 98.2% survival rate ???
THE FACTS: As of July 23, there were more than 34.3 million known cases of COVID-19 in the United States and 610,370 deaths, according to data from Johns Hopkins University. That means the case fatality ratio -- or the portion of known cases that result in death in the country -- is 1.8%. In other words, on average, 98.2% of known COVID-19 patients in the U.S. survive. Because the true number of infections is much larger than just the documented cases, the actual survival rate of all COVID-19 infections is even higher than 98.2%.

Don't be fooled by the colours of the wires they mean nothing as can be seen in the photo, incoming black and green outgoing red and black...the green wires taped together could be earth but could just as easily be live !
And the "Safe T cut" breaker in the photo is just a breaker/fuse not an earth leakage breaker
"Safe T cut" do make earth leakage breakers ( RCBO) as do other brand names...you can tell it's RCBO because it will have a "test" button on it which you are supposed to press once in a while to test the earth leakage part actually still works.

The tires may have flat spots on them but you would know pretty quickly if it was a problem just by driving the car as the car is not exposed to the intense UV sunlight I would have though the tires are still in quite good condition..check for cracking of the rubber on the sidewalls.
engine oil yes change that possibly change coolant and transmission oil if its an auto..brake hoses I'd say no, rubber parts probably not...drive it and see.

@Bandersnatch could you do a little experiment by disconnecting your internet and see if the doorbell still functions correctly.
http://community.anker.com/t/eufycam-and-its-dependency-on-an-internet-connection/82000/7
"I installed the (battery) doorbell and homebase over the weekend and it has the same issue as you have with the EufyCam: when the Internet connection is down the doorbell will still ring inside (on the homebase) but the app says the doorbell is offline and no video connection is available even though I am home, using wifi, as is the homebase.
There is no excuse for this system not working without internet connection. I was already afraid this would happen when during the installation I had to create an account (even though I do not use the cloud storage), and now it seems that the system is not going to work without on-line access to that account. This is totally unacceptable! If Anker/Eufy goes bust (or just offline) my supposedly totally local doorbell system no longer functions. Surely there MUST be a possible solution that Anker/Eufy kan come up with?"-

Just be glad you don't live in the UK.
"The ruling means anybody whose Ring doorbell camera films people outside the boundaries of their property could be accused of breaching data protection laws and the privacy of that person - potentially paving the way for thousands of lawsuits over alleged breaches of UK laws. "
It seems to me a ridiculous ruling given how many "security" cameras there are all over the UK especially London...perhaps the same could be used on dashcams, bus lane cams, traffic cameras etc etc can't see this ruling standing.

Is there any way to connect to the doorbell/base unit without using the app ? ( webpage, SSH, ftp ? )
Are the video files stored on the base unit in a propriety format or can you just view them straight with a player like VLC ?
-
I think the too scared guy said he pushed the button but it didn't ring and there doesn't seem to be a ringing sound when red shirt rider pressed the button either ?

In the video it says the rope was cut bellow the painter man...so someone saw some ropes dangling outside their window/balcony and cut them possibly unaware that painter man was painting above.
Luckily painter man looked down and saw the rope had been cut before descending further and reaching the end of his tether still 26 storys above ground.

Yes this is what happens when you shut "everything" down close swimming pools, gyms, parks and all other places to exercise and scare people into staying at home "for their own safety" for 2 years !!!
