Guilty of all 3 I suppose. 😋 I've also been called cretinous (on this very forum) in the past for continuing to use Windows XP and refusing to install winblows 10... my cretinous crustaceous XP install still works, but browser support is on its last legs..So I have "upgraded" to WIN7 but mostly use Linux now. I also have an ATM card and "smart phone" that doesn't sync my photos,documents and contacts to the cloud, GPS and location is off and it has no banking apps,government apps or Covidiocy apps installed..it is also so ancient that it has (gasp) a removable battery !!!!!

From my recent experience,yes there is a very busy dedicated desk in the new building desk number 10, you have to qet a queue number first fill in the form and have proof of where you stay for example the housebook and Id of the landlord,there is no fee.

If people want to work (past retirement) then good for them...but they should not be forced to by some government changing the rules midstream/moving the goalposts ... there seems to be plenty of money to spend on war but not enough for the pension pot that people have paid into for years working hard expecting to be able to put their feet up in later years to enjoy "other pursuits" or just laze about doing sod all...instead they face a miserable existence of high energy costs,taxes,taxes,taxes, high food costs,taxes on inheritance they might want to pass on to children etc etc.

Broke yes in a military sense having sent all they had to Ukraine and broke yes in the fact they can not replenish their armaments in a time frame that would "save" Ukraine and broke as in they have to use very expensive energy and broke as in they don't have the soldiers in boots to take on Russia even if they want to...nothing to do with interest rates !!!

What have interest rates to do with military weapons stock piles and the ability to replenish them ?

It's not really so much that they are too cowardly its more that they have already sent Ukraine everything they had and are now broke + record low actual soldiers in boots that could go fight the "dastardly" Russians even if they wanted to.
