  1. If it's prepared the right way, it has a fine taste of hazelnut and it's only protein.

I don't eat all kind of them but I enjoy eating some of them. There is a big taste difference between the taste of bugs cooked on fairs and the ones you get in restaurants. The last ones have in my opinion better taste.

I wouldn't try to import it to any country. As said above you could get problems with customs and Health Department of the country you import it.

I already see bugs and other insect for sale in Belgium, Germany, The Netherlands and in France.

  2. Go and check Tesco online, their website ONLY has soft and SUPER SOFT, these things may as well be made from spider spit, they have no brushing strength.

You shop online and complain that they don't sell what you want...

Move to the supermarket or pharmacy and you will find what you are looking for!

  3. 2-3 decades ago I read a study made by German Economics students which results showed why a country can't survive without smokers.

I don't find it on the net.

The conclusion was that if everyone stops smoking overnight, the country would go bankrupt within a few years:

    • tobacco farms, tobacco factories will close --> many jobless
    • some paper factories, print companies, chemical factories (and their suppliers) will close or have less work --> many jobless
    • subcontractors of those factories will lose work --> jobless
    • shops will lose customers --> jobless
    • less smoke related sickness --> less patients in hospital --> jobless
    • sick people will be sooner healthy --> shorter stay in hospital --> jobless
    • hospital subcontractors (food, hygiene, drugs, technicals...) less work --> jobless
    • less tax income means less money to spend for infrastructures --> less work for subcontractors --> jobless
    • no smoker live longer --> longer retired --> longer retired money
    • ... and a lot more facts which I don't remember

The consequence would be total collapse of the economy...

It would take many years to get the stability back.

If I find the study on the net I will post the link here.

  4. I've already seen so that in smaller here. And in the next morning the termites (or ants?) are gone and you find only the wings remaining.

After the first time it happened, I closed the gap between doors and ground because we got them in house!

  5. I have had numerous occasions to compare the relative delay for getting my luggage on the belt between Suwa and a few European airports and Suwa wins hands down almost every time.

I have other gripes about Suwa, but baggage delivery isn't one of them.

IMO is Paris Charles De Gaulle the worst one concerning luggage waiting...

  6. @ KhunBENQ

I asked a tire repair shop... they cannot fix. They say go to motorcycle shop... and to get there I have to drive 6 km to get on the Phetchkasem road, 3km for the U-turn and 2km back... and from there 2 km to shop... OK, it's only 13 km.

It's not the valve. I did some dishes soap on it and around and there are no bubbles.

  7. Thank you for the quick answers.

It's a JRD 125 ccm scooter and I live in a small village in the middle of nowhere.

My neighbors are very nice people. I asked already but they don't know how to help...

I plan to change the tires anyway because the scooter droved already 40 000 km and I am 99% sure that the tires are the original ones.

In Europe you can find "emergency repair spray" for car.

Is it available in Thailand and could I use it?

  8. Hello,

I'm a newbie scooter driver and I need some advice.

My scooter has the back tire flat. As I pump air in it I hear 'pschhhhhh" coming out from somewhere but don't see any nail nor can't feel where it comes from.

The shop which can fix it is about 15 km far away from my home.

How can I bring the scooter there? It's too heavy to get it on the pick-up.

How far can I drive with a flat tire?

    Thank you!
