I knew an English guy who had been here for a while , he would stand and argue the toss about 5 baht with Songthaew drivers in Pattaya.

The one I have seen was in English and it gave the % of effectiveness of the vaccines in Thailand .

Somebody posted a chart on here a few days ago , it was the effectiveness of the vaccines used by percent. I cannot find it , does anybody know the whereabouts of it ?

My money was taken by HM Passport on the 11th. August , my passport arrived in Bangkok a couple of days ago.

I sent my passport to an agent with payment on the 21st July. I received an e mail yesterday saying my new UK passport is in Bangkok awaiting collection. Total turnaround 7 weeks and Two days.

I liked it when you could look at the sellers profile and see what part of Thailand he lived in or if he was from out of the country. That is another thing that has disappeared.

I'm in the middle of a dispute with a seller , I paid for 2 he sent one . He wanted photo for proof , I sent them. He asked me to help him out with his boss , could I buy something for 10 baht and he will put the missing item into the box with it , plus what it cost for delivery. I did this, the second package arrived with nothing but the 10 baht item in..... Now I am struggling to get him to reply , I will give him another day , then give it to Lazada to sort out.

I remember the friend of my wife having some gold stolen from her house. They went to the village police station and were told they had to wait 24hrs before they would investigate. I could rattle off numerous stories of Police not doing their duty in and around our village.

When I have returned anything , I go to my acc. .>>> my returns and cancellations >>> and the sellers address should be under the item you are returning . with an option to print the address . I have never had anybody collect from my house , I took the printed address , which I believe has a barcode attached to it , to my nearest Kerry office and they take care of it from there.

Lazada was not at fault for my last one . I had a package picked up by this lot ( NinjaVanTH ) from Bangkok 16:00hrs on the 1st September and it didn't arrive till 14:00hrs yesterday afternoon 6th September On the 3rd September 17:00 hrs , a package was picked up by Flash Express in Bangkok and it arrived 40 hours later . That is the difference between the delivery companies.

Is anybody up to speed on these PSI Sat. boxes. Up until recently the kids could watch cartoons , but now all channels apart from the mainstay news and soap channels are blocked.....Or is it that I need to upgrade the Sat. box , we have had it since 2010.

Just to confuse matters a bit more there is this.....

6 months supply for 130 baht...... You are lucky , I get charged 400 baht for Physician's evaluation , 200 baht for nursing charge. I have been paying on top of that 2,668 baht for one months supply of tablets , and I have just found exaxctly the same tablets in a large pharmacy for 850 baht for a months supply. Talk about getting ripped off.

I see the Pfizer vaccines are to be used on students between the ages of 12 and 18 . 4 million of them next month. This is according to the Education minister. Where are they getting all these Pfizer vaccines from all of a sudden ?

Same in our village but on a smaller scale. Newly elected head man lives in a not so good house and drives an old battered pick up. Now he is building a bar and restaurant , already built a new house and has a new Toyota pick up. The one before him built a new house and has trucks for moving sugar cane and 4 tractors. Meanwhile the village is in a <deleted> state. The last decent headman we had got shot over a contractor putting bills in for sub standard road works. He survived the shooting , but 6 months later they got him , 2 gunmen this time.

This sight is so informative at times. I read the Headlines about picking up meds without travelling , so I read your posts and looked into my own scenario. I have been visiting the Bangkok Mungraj hospital in Ratchaburi every month to pick up a repeat prescription , but like most hospitals , you cannot get a repeat prescription until the Doctor has seen you. So every month I have been paying 200 baht for Reception and Blood Pressure and weight check. 400 baht for a minute with the Doctor. 1,857 baht for Medication 801 baht for case medication what ever that is I do not know , and I have asked numerous times and nobody can give a answer in English that I can unsderstand. So a total of 3,258 baht , with a 120 kilometre round trip. A new Pharmacy has opened within the last year about 10 klms from us. I took my tablets there today and asked him if he could get them for me. He produced them within 5 mins and charged me 850 baht for One months supply...... Medication alone is 1,808 baht more expensive in the hospital , I don't mind a bit of a mark up to cover costs , but is this extracting the urine ?
