Good idea and I suggested this...but after 3 years away and waiting for his wife's Green Card for nearly 2 years, she suddenly got it recently. They were so thrilled and chomping to return that he just booked flights immediately. So answer is...not enough time. Next time he should definitely do this very thing. 👍

A friend from the USA is returning to Thailand after 3 years, with his Thai wife. He plans to enter Visa Exempt and is wondering if he can then extend for another 30 days❓I said I think so...but would ask. So is this possible on a visa exempt without leaving the country❓If so, what is the procedure❓

I've tried 4 different options other than Long-term Stay In Thailand recently and all 4 were coded the same...International Transfer.

Yep had the exact same thing within the past month. Always something new and intrusive, but what can ya do❓ However, things at Wise are so inconsistent now. My last transfer of $3725 from my US bank 2 weeks ago arrived same day in about 6 hours. Fastest ever. This past week, initiated a transfer of $4200 from the same bank on 2 April, but they claimed the money would take longer than expected for them to receive it...up to a week❗So checked my bank and Wise had withdrawn the funds on...April 2nd. WTF❓So I cancelled and got the refund today. Then initiated another transfer on 3 April for the same amount. Same thing. Says the money will take longer than expected. They say 9 April. And of course the rate at the time was much higher than it is currently. Ridiculous.

The name was in Thai and I didn't take a picture of it. As you exit the front of Tukcom at South Pattaya Rd, go left past Starbucks. The first gold shop you'll see, just across the little soi, is called Proud. They may buy there...but we continued on a bit further and the next gold shop on the left is where I sold. Small Mom & Pop shop with husband and wife tending the store. Hope this helps

I didn't have much, but sold my gold coins for THB yesterday. Didn't need the money, but figured I'd dump it at a high price. Gonna offload my silver coins too soon, if can find a pawn shop or individual to buy it.
