    So let's say they make each day in IDC valued at 200 baht a day as the pre payment incarceration penalty to be used to getv her to the 20k fine payment....she'll be locked up for 100 days. However et's just say 100 baht a day.....then she will have spent almost as many days locked away as her overstay.....then a 10 year ban.....

    It's still relative. Just because a thread started years ago, new things and updates are added that keep it going and impart information to the members. Each province also dies things differently in what they accept as far as your paperwork. Some accept the pink ID card and yellow house book while others like In BKK want a COR only.

    It's why we live south of Hua Hin, much nicer, always quiet except on holidays. The road from BKK south is a mess and has been for years. We drive up and back to BKK once a month to visit, but it's been a very calm low season down here since we returned from the US. Cha-ams not very pleasant in my book. Good places to eat, a few nice hotels we used to visit but that's it.

    Only way to obtain a COR at Chamchuri Sguare is if you have an LTR visa or a Business visa issued through that location. All other visa types must obtain the COR through Chaeng Wattana.

    Already moved ourselves. Using the house in Hua Hin for family vacations, not just us but our kids. 3months here, 3 months back to the US, rinse and repeat.
