Best you read up on the law Adultery is defined in Thai law as either a validly married woman having consensual sexual intercourse with a man who is not her husband or a validly married man having consensual sexual intercourse with a woman validly married to another. In some countries adultery is a crime, but in Thailand it is not. Section 1523. Spousal Compensation In case of divorce by judgment of the Court on the ground as provided in Section 1516 (1), the husband or wife is entitled to compensation from the husband or wife and other woman or adulterer, as the case may be. The husband is entitled to claim compensation from any person who has wrongfully taken liberties with his wife in an adulterous manner, and the wife is entitled to claim compensation from other woman who has openly shown her adulterous relations with the former's husband. However, the husband or wife is not entitled to claim compensation if he or she has consented to or connived at the act done by other party under Section 1516 (1) or allowed other person to act as provided in paragraph two. er woman.

That is the way I see it. I know of plenty of folks who have a work permit issued through the BOI and they do their 90 day reports at the BOI instead of CW, and the B-Visa is issued through the BOI as well if they are working for a company aligned with the BOI. As soon as I know more I will post again.

My deepest condolences. Your call if you want to get the police involved. Best to hire an attorney and ensure they have all of the information, obviously copies of the proof, if you have any monetary stakes involved as well as children. IF not and nothing to be lost, just do a simple divorce if both in agreement. I lived through this, and walked after assessing if I was loosing anything which could not be replaced and more lost by hiring a lawyer. The ex agreed to put the house and property in our daughters name, no child support requested as the new husband is a multi millionaire, but I still give the daughter money and have a college fund set-up for her as I am still her father.

Immigration has nothing to do with the Cabinet approved LTR Visa, it is the BOI from start to finish. After approval you will be given an approval letter: Per the BOI PDF: "Qualified applicants may proceed with applying for LTR Visa issuance at the Royal Thai Embassies/the Royal Thai Consulate Generals overseas or Immigration offices in Thailand within 60 days from the issuance date of the endorsement letter. The processing fee for the 10-year visa with multiple entry is 50,000 Baht per person" The only thing immigration will do is affix the visa since it will be given initially as a 5 year visa in your passport after being authorized by the BOI. Still not sure where the 50K is to be paid. I am waiting on the final approval for my LTRWP endorsement since I applied on September 2nd, and have received an e-mail indicating it is under final consideration. https://www.boi.go.th/upload/content/LTR.pdf

It, above ground parking, was one of the first things I looked at when shopping for a condo in BKK after living here during the flood of 2011. My Condo's parking structure starts above the ground floor and has 10 floor of parking, which are always full. The 11th floor is part of the parking garage but is also where the condos workers have a break room and such. No way my car will ever be submerged like the OP photo.

Arrival/Departure Card
ThailandRyan replied to BillStrangeOgre's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
As DrJack has indicated above, all you need is your passport, the TM7, and 1900 baht, and you shall get another 30 day stamp. My mistake was reading to much into the post as I saw extension and jumped the gun...sorry for the confusion. -

Got it now, my Mistake, thought he was going for an actual O visa after coming in on the 30 day exempt. Makes sense, just did not read it the way you have now explained it. -

I adjusted my post. Are you just now applying for the "O" Visa, or is this for an actual extension of stay as you have gone and received the "O" after arrival and going to CW. Sorry if I confused you, did not mean to. -

Don't forget your bank statement and bank book. Are you going to do an extension of stay for an "O" Visa. -
Your having a hard time with this aren't you. China had 125% more citizens leave China then the previous year. How many landed in Thailand is anyone's guess. I know of 2 that left China, though Hong Ko g and have repatriated here. They had most of there monies tied up in the US. Now they have bought a leasehold 25 million Thb home in Phuket.
