Yet everyday they use the money to fight the war they are loosing in the Ukraine as the body counts stack up on both sides. The great Russia war machine is slowly becoming empty in its ordinance and equipment, and so now they are wooing China for more weapons and money. This is not information from the MSM and the west but from reality. Store shelves are not full like they once were and people who had been living just marginally are suffering. I may be from the US but I am an Ashkenazi Jew whose family emigrated to the US from Russia after WW-I. Still in contact with many of my cousins who still live in Russia.

Heritage, really, do you realize that all Americans are immigrants from other countries, and only the American Indians and Mexican/Spanish families of old are true Americans in the sense of the word. The US is only 236 years old as a Nation. So think about how many still remain loyal to there own familial traditions and cultures. The MSM is not your friend and the information you glean from places like Wikipedia are not necessarily correct when it comes to things cultural or based upon heritage. Calling all Americans Hypocrites is not appropriate either, maybe your view is the same as someone who has been assimilated and brainwashed.

USA Tourist Visa for Thai Wife
ThailandRyan replied to SeaMike01's topic in Visas and migration to other countries
I misread his post, sorry for that, which makes all of my questions actually moot. Thought he had applied for a CR1 or K-1 and was denied. Having done the visa for my now ex-wife years ago, all of what I wrote is correct if applying as a sponsor..... -
Taiwan is a free and autonomous country, and is also known as the ROC. You are aware that the war between the ROC and the PRC never has officially ended. The ROC relinquished mainland china but still holds Taiwan and many other strategic islands. Have you done your research to understand why Taiwan is such an important cog in China's master plan, and why the west, and not just the US will not let that happen. This OP is about the property market collapse threatening Thailand based upon an economic recession, and any attempt at taking Taiwan would create a global issue of immense proportions. This OP is not about the indigenous Hawaiians or the Indians of America. The US was not the only country to have slaves, and the indians mistreatment started way before the US was born...try again.

Interviewing the victims, not interrogating them is the right verbiage. Asking questions instead of being accusatory. My experience is that an Interrogation takes the shape of cross questioning and the role of the person asking questions is different from the role of an interviewer. Often interrogation take place in a lopsided condition where the interrogator looks like an aggressor and the suspect finds him in a desperate situation.

USA Tourist Visa for Thai Wife
ThailandRyan replied to SeaMike01's topic in Visas and migration to other countries
A question for you? Part of the visa process for applying for a spouse visa to the US or a Fiance visa is that a criminal back ground check is done on you the American Citizen. On top of that they do check financials as you need to provide proof you can support the partner. Could you have possibly had something pop up on you? Is this wife the first and only one you have sponsored to obtain a visa to the US. I know these are personal questions, but one never knows and will ot be told what transpired as to why there was a denial. -
Drove to Bang Phli south of BKK this morning. The west side of the highway, frontage road was totally flooded out, glad I was on the Tollway. The Wat we drove to we could not get to because of the flooding and had to park at the BIG C and walk over the bridge. The small river was overfull. The opposite side of the highway and that area was dry as a bone, had not rained over on that side but did on the other side....

Non-O Question
ThailandRyan replied to night_rider's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Good luck, as @DrJack54 has said when you put the I/O on the spot, no matter how diplomatic you try and be, it never works out. I used the 800K in the bank method for my first extension years ago, and it only had to season for 2 months. Had I not done that I would have had to show 12 months of monthly transfers via bank statements that were stamped by the bank. -
New e-mail today from the LTR Unit Dear xxxx, First of all we're terribly sorry for taking so long to reply your email. We're currently inundated with thousands of inquiries for LTR visa. However we're thankful for your everyone's patience and interests in making Thailand your home. Your document has been well-received. Your application is already under the final consideration process. We will contact you shortly. Kind regards, LTR Visa Unit As for the other e-mails I received there has been no information on those which indicated an appointment for the sealing of the visa in my passport, maybe this is what they are waiting on.

What is it with Thais and Hospitals?
ThailandRyan replied to bob smith's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
I explained that with the 30 Baht scheme afforded to all Thai's this is why, but you gave me a flippant post which included "bit of a daft comment from you again bryan". I remember the days before Thaksin created the 30 Baht scheme, the clinics in the villages were the only ones full in the evenings, after the scheme came into effect the local government hospitals were always full. Just my view from living in the north outside of Wang Sam Mo in Issan back in the day before I lived in Phuket, Chiang Mai, and Udon Thani. -

What is it with Thais and Hospitals?
ThailandRyan replied to bob smith's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
How would you know it was just a bruise and not a fracture or shin splints for that matter...your ego is an issue as you decide what's good for you is also good for others and Thais. Try and understand the culture here and do not compare it to your culture.....debate over. -
