  2. There is a time limit but not sure how long. You can not move forward on the modules unless actively viewing and participating. Not sure about where he should do it, but it can basically be done anywhere for the actual DLT portion. Just remember he will jeed a medical certificate done no more than 20 days prior, a certificate of residence, his passport and copies of his past extension stamp and his Visa he entered on. He also will jeed his actual licenses I hand to turn in with his paperwork and a new application. That was in BKK it might he different elsewhere.
  3. It's subtitled. Then there is a section in English. Questions are in English. You need to register on the website and you can do it for English speaking.
  4. On-line DLT E-Learning module. It's a 1 hour course and when done print of the QR code they give you after passing a few question test. Just completed it last month and renewed my licenses for another 5+ years two weeks ago. https://www.dlt-elearning.com/
  5. No-Doz tablets and Dr. Pepper helped me drive the 18 hour straight drive from outside of Portland Oregon to Indio, CA. During my college years.
  6. Wondering if the car was on the police Hot List...
  7. Will my 5 leaf clover help me choose the right number, Asking for a friend whose holding my bong......
  8. So one does not even need a license according to your post, you just rock on into the country jump into a car with no license or insurance covering you and off you go much like the motorbike tourists that then crash and there health and tourist insurance does not cover it.....you must be the go to guy for the ones needing to set up the GoFundMe pages......but wait the new 300 Baht HI fee should cover a non-licensed, non insured driver right? I think you meant that if on a Tourist Visa, and with your countries license and an IDP your good to go for 90 days.
  9. Which Visa did you enter the country on was it a non imm "O" or a non imm "O-A"?
  10. Your going down the Rabbit hole my friend. Stick to the war and how the special operation is not a special operation but an attempt to cleanse the Ukraine and restore the former USSR to it's former glory by seizing the Ukraine and you may survive.
  11. The unfortunate thing that the Trump Supporters need to understand is that there is always an amount of false information spread in the media and so on in order to try and discredit the other party. The issue becomes that they know many will believe it and side with the mudslinger without doing any research themselves, ergo they have gone down the rabbit hole. In my view Politicians running for office should only be given two newspaper spots in the papers, that's all of the papers and then two television commercials. During these media campaigns the politician can only use the media to tell the public about themselves and what they will do if elected....and nothing else.
  12. I tried with my post above, but maybe it needed to be like the post below yours. Sad to see people get sucked in. Wonder if it could be considered Stockholm Syndrome.....
  13. Oh my you are really down in the rabbit hole my friend....sigh
  14. How many of the millions are actually migrant workers who have entered the country to take the jobs Thai's will not do.
  15. Only in Thailand do they pray to Buddha statues, rub powder on trees, look for animals with many body parts and so on as a way to divine the lottery numbers. To believe this crazy feces is just like the old wives tail about getting your hair cut or washed on a Wednesday as being bad luck.....only in Thailand.....
  16. Yes the banks are downstairs, but you need to check to see if your bank has an office down there. I can not remember which banks have left..... @TallGuyJohninBKKmight remember if Bangkok Bank is still downstairs or even @DrJack54. I use K-Bank so they are there still.
  17. That is what they have sometimes as well as Clothing bazaars in the big center court of the main floor. Downstairs has a lot of different stuff including some of the phone centers, my GF's Daughters Stepmother works for AIS in the basement, on top of that you have the government pharmacy as well as a few other small pharmacies.
  18. Downstairs in the basement of the Immigration building at CW are many places to eat, as well as a food court. It is also where all of the banks are at for folks needing an annual letter and copies of the passbook, well a few have moved out, but K-Bank is still there. Places to make copies as well as get your photos done as well.
  19. And you buy into that? How long have you been here since you arrived? Most folks are staying for up to 30 days, and more will be staying longer as we get into high season since they come to escape the winters elsewhere. Sure some come for 2 weeks because that's what they get off from work but many do stay longer. Quality tourists which Thailand has been seeking.
  20. Tourists who wish to extend their visa's for another 30 days need to head to Laksi or CW...... Guess you will just leave the country and do a border bounce and return or fly out and then return instead of paying 1900 Baht to get it extended.
  21. Still mandatory in Government offices to wear a mask and I just returned from a trip to Chaeng Wattana Immigration here in BKK. Not only must you wear a mask but your still being asked to fill out a Covid questionnaire as well. Your view on doing as you wish only gets you so far in this country.
  22. Just returned from CW after heading to the Sai Mai Area. The GF's daughter was with the stepmother at her workplace in the basement of CW where she works. As John said in his post above they are still making you do the Covid questionnaire upon entering the building. Traffic was a real pain, but no water anywhere. It started raining as we went out the backside and back to the freeway/expressway. The construction out front is a true nightmare, but as @TallGuyJohninBKKsaid they now have a dedicated ramp that takes you on down to the entrance of CW. Unfortunately, coming out the backside you have to drive a few extra KM to get to the U-Turn and head back to the freeway. All in all it will be easy going once the road destruction is done. I also noticed quite a few new MooBan's being built in the area.
  23. So only jobs a Thai can do, nice to know that they have reserved panhandling and flower selling for Thai's.
  24. Jim have you emailed your questions to the LTR.BOI unit at their email, which I have linked below? [email protected]
