  1. Yet his legacy lives on through some of Apples fans who keep him alive through ink. https://www.cultofmac.com/413997/steve-jobs-apple-fan-tattoos/
  2. Another degrading post advocating for Thai's to go work the fields and not buy things that keep them connected to society or give them the ability to see things other than riding a bicycle....you sir are a true peach. Again saying Thais don't want jobs, what they do not want is to work what they feel are degrading menial jobs meant for those that live beneath others. It is not a caste system here, and people want to move up if they can. Yes debt does play a part in life, not all are born with a silver spoon in their mouth.
  3. If you met me on the street, you would have no idea I had tattoo's, so your view is tainted by a few bad examples that make you shake your head and believe all done in poor judgement. Everyone who has a tattoo or more than one has their own reasoning and it has a special meaning to them, sure many are tasteless, but then if that is what they like I do not criticize or call them out for it. Hard to believe that someone in a prestigious CEO position would have tattoo's, well you might want to consider there are many.....enjoy your narrow views. BTW Steve Jobs has 4 or more tattoo's, bet you never saw them either. https://bodyartguru.com/famous-ceos-tattoos/
  4. So another hater, must have grown up being close minded and not seeing outside the box you created for yourself.
  5. To me it adds to the beauty and gives them a mystique.
  6. If, and that's a big if, if he would come out bow down, ask for forgiveness and tell the good folks how he had embellished his view on what happened and then admitted to screwing the pooch and how he was wrong, then and only then would I think he would walk.
  7. It could also be tailored for Russia, and so on. His point as always is his dislike for the CCP and anything that stems from them. Why? He has been brainwashed it appears and is not thinking for himself...thats what happens when you believe only one side and do not do your own research. It is why my former neighbor in the US never read the paper or watch the news, she did not want to be bombarded with fictional tales her words....
  8. As I said opinions are like....everyone has one, and for that I agree to disagree with your view. My dad had tattoos from his military years, his father had his from his years in the Navy during WW2 to memorialize his time serving in the battle of Guadalcanal and for those lost.
  9. I hope the removal was for a true tattoo and not a holocaust number she had inked on her by certain individuals at the time. My grandfather, until he died always tried to keep his identification number covered up, while my Grandmother proudly displayed the one she had been tattooed with to show she was a true survivor, unlike her parents who had perished at that regimes hands.
  10. Since I am not a bar goer, I will take your word for it. I misread your "in some cases", my apologies.
  11. Yes he should pay the price, but then so should all of the folks who were announcing certain labs and then vaccines of certain types were being made and procured and had an investment in those as well. All seems to have gone dark in the realm of Sinovac and the new home developed vaccines, as well as a local lab.
  12. So this looks like a school kid did this in your view, then if so I must say that the school kid that did this has one hell of a future ahead for him/her
  13. Reminds me of a Outer Limits show from 1963, is the Trump really a Russian who has had his face and body changed to resemble the Donald.
  14. Now there is 3D Tattooing
  15. Far from it......opinions are like.....everyone has one, so agree to disagree.
  16. Mine look like they are brand new 20 years later, have not faded with time like some I have seen.
  17. Yes to him he is innocent, but to the real world he is hosed big time...
  18. So it is a personal servant and groundskeeper you are bellowing about that are hard to find. That has always been and always will be a problem sir. Finding staff for a company is also a stiff one in finding ones that will fit in. I hired a Thai housekeeper 3 years ago and after 3 months let her go as she would not do what was expected, I did not whine about it like you are, instead I hired an older lady from Myanmar whose family had worked with my GF's family. I pay her 20k a month, and that includes her room and board, so she is well paid. The woman starts cleaning at 6 am, and has always gone above and beyond what is needed. She is given from Saturday night at 6pm to Monday morning at 6am as her time off each week to spend with her family. The only issue I ever had with hiring a non-Thai was having to hire an agent to do the proper paperwork to list me as the employer and list her as my employee, something you do not need to do when hiring a Thai. We all have our crosses to bare, but finding good help has been the norm across all industries.
  19. One of her employees landed a job in a shop off of Sukhumvit near On Nut. She has had 1 customer in 4 days, the shop owner is about to close up. People want their hair washed and trimmed, which takes an hour, for 200 baht... Many folks still do not have money......
  20. His reasoning is self induced because he has a hard time hiring folks, so because of that its laziness and self induced by those unemployed folks. My GF had to close her salon because of Covid. She had to lay off her 4 employee's, and try as hard as she can, she herself can not find a job coloring hair or working in a salon herself, because they are jobs only a Thai can do and she is from Myanmar. To work in a salon she must be the owner, and at this time no one can afford what true hair coloring or styling costs.......
  21. He doesn't get it that many of those unemployed worked in the tourist industry, and he believes tourism is a drop in the bucket. 4 hotels, large ones near me here in BKK closed over 2 years ago and all lost there jobs. Hard to work in a hotel when it's closed and others have reduced staff. Had friends close there businesses because of a lack of customers and the rents could not be met.....we adopted 4 families whose store fronts closed and have been helping them......they just recently started back up but are struggling.....
  22. Sure was plenty of work in the tourist areas, in the closed hotels and then of course in the closed restaurants....hmmm...try again.
  23. Damn, if I got locked in the bathroom, I would just keep writing my weight on the wall after having bowel movements, water from the sink will keep you hydrated. I would have taken a long jacuzzi tub soak, and then used my towels to make pillows with for sleeping. If hungry I could eat the toothpaste, and if I wanted to get tipsy well maybe drink the mouthwash, as long as it contained alcohol.
  24. Prior to buying my MG HS, I had a Porsche Cayenne which I bought new in 2019, when I sold it in 2021, 2 years after I bought it it only had 8k Km on it, it was only driven in BKK and a few outside trips. I have a Yamaha X-max 300 I bought right after I sold the Porsche, and it only has a little over 1k km on it. Living in the city I don't drive but a few km a day here and there. My 2012 Mitsubishi Triton I had in Udon, had over 200k km on it after driving just 4 years, thats what happens when you live far away from everything. Mileage is relevant to how much folks drive, some drive alot and others like me drive not to much. The MG HS has 22k on it now, but when you drive to Phuket, Chiang Mai and other places you put on the miles. The X-Max will get lots of miles after the weather changes and we stay in southern Hua Hin more. I would be wary of buying a used car from someone who does not have the paperwork to back it up. Almost all of the Thai's I have known or met over the years service there vehicle regularly and keep the receipts, thats why they always want to sell it for big money.....
  25. I am sure that they will be able to check the insurance through the carrier portal here in Thailand, or through contacting your carrier elsewhere, who will then will have to submit a new evidence of coverage, not really a hard issue.....
