Thailand 300 baht entry fee for tourists set to start in early 2023
ThailandRyan replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
It is the principal. It won't cover you, nor me as long term residents here now will it, unless you now have a Thai passport which will exclude you from paying. It's not the price it's the issue. -

If I was the CFO of a company but also did accounting work for the company and was suspended from the CFO position would you think it wise to keep working as an accountant? Suspended is suspended. Suspension means no activity in your position or any position associated with your position......Think about that. He is being unethical, but then when has your hero and this government ever been ethical. -
When I first went to Udon Thani, and was doing some visits to Bangkok Hospital to see an old friend who had been hit while crossing the street, I stayed on Soi Sleeze in the Irish Clock. Back in 2008 The Irish Clock was the place to go. Food was good and the beer was cold. The rest of the street lived up to its name. I lived out in Wang Sam Mo, and then down in Nong Saeng and Kumphawapi. All in all it was a good 10 years.

The man's been suspended as the PM, and any other jobs he had he is also suspended from. He is being not only disingenuous untruthful and unfaithful, but is becoming a liability to his country by not waiting out the suspension...... -

He is a lost puppy. Believes that we are Trump Haters. 34 years as a law enforcement officer, District attorney investigator, who has filed numerous affidavits and served numerous warrants is not good enough for him.. I give up. He is a lost cause like his hero the Donald. -

Did I say anything about a Thai worker....get a grip and read the post. Many foreign employee's working for companies here, especially in the Insurance industry fly in and out heading to locations outside of Thailand to review the claim and interview folks, they then fly back in. When I was working for an International Company here I was in and out twice a week and then returning, so that would be 8 trips out and back a month. It was why I retired completely. Your view at this point is irrelevant until it is listed in the Royal Gazette....if working and living in Thailand makes one a tourist instead of a long term stayer then their is a problem..... -
A single entry Tourist Visa will give you a total of 90 days. First stamp should be for 60 days, then a trip to immigration where you will pay 1900 baht for the final 30 days. They have however changed the Visa Exempt entries to 45 days, starting soon, which you could get upon arrival and then extend as well.

Exactly, I forgot about those working. Imagine an employee flying in and out to conduct business in all of the countries in Asia and the west, this could be 4 times a month.... -

One wonders if they have worked out the kinks, and if expats who live in Thailand and have Thai insurance will be exempt. I know its only 300 baht but it's the principal of it.- 140 replies

Guess they have learned to settle and promote this as a winner, yet How many went out of business over the past 2 years, and what is the percentage between now and then of companies in business.....I can see the increases are exponential in growth of new companies since the beginning of the year, but we need the prior numbers to know if it is growth from those lost or what.....

If in Thailand. A friend ordered and it was a China individual with no ties to Thailand except through Lazada. I tend to use Shopee............never had an issue with any items ordered, but then I look at the sellers ratings and read the reviews some of course are fake reviews but then you can see through the shysters.
