  1. Historically meaningless, no Ronaldo...
  2. Roadworks that will choke the normal flow on an everyday basis for the next few years We drive it a few times a week from Sathorn to the GFs shop in Bang Phli. When the weather allows I ride the Motorbike, if not we drive the car, and thus can use the expressway bypassing the congestion. The buses cause enough congestion of there own by not having a designated lane to travel in, by moving g from the curb all the way right and then back to the curb at the next stop.
  3. Your freedom.s are not u Der attack. What's attacking you is your own beliefs that your freedoms extend to you in other countries that see things differently. Do as you wish I don't care, but stop trying to compare your home country with Thailand.
  4. Sheep, hmm let me think about that, nope not sheep, name calling when you dont agree with others is called bad form. However, If you think that you can act contrary to another countries beliefs and regulations, just because of your belief in your freedom, then you might want to stay in Canada. If you do as you say you risk possibly becoming a statistic based on non conformity and doing as you want. Go ask Brittney Griner trapped in Russia now how her beliefs in her freedoms to do as she wanted helped her.....
  5. If his lips are moving you know what's being spouted is BS.
  6. You mean you don't? Try it you might like it, might keep your shoes dry and head from getting wet during the rain...

  11. Well unfortunately, and I am fairly certain, that when you return here you will still be having to wear a mask in government offices and on the MRT or BTS. Your just so bent out of shape about masks, I feel sorry for the emotional damage this had done to your psyche.
  12. Wow. I feel bad paying between 6500 thb and 7600 thb for a 3 bedroom condo here in Bangkok. We wash close daily, use the dryer, run the AC at 26, have a refrigerator with a freezer unit, as well as a new chest freezer. To top it off we are only home half the time. We average between 1400 and 1500 units a month. When we were home during the li known the usage averaged 1850 units a month. Thankfully there was the discount.
  13. You just can not let it go can you. Time to let your mind relax. Sorry this bothers you so much.

  16. Scalpers lost some money on this one it seems. I agree that having a match on a Tuesday instead of a Friday evening or a Saturday would have been great, but after all this is a long 5 day holiday weekend and so maybe they felt is was like a Friday evening game ....

  19. @RichardColemanIs the Fed and US really printing money like nobodies business or are you just restating a tired old cliche, there is more to it, read the link and then you will understand why the dollar moves the way it does when the Fed does what it is doing.: https://www.thebalance.com/is-the-federal-reserve-printing-money-3305842 The Fed uses contractionary monetary policy to dry up liquidity. This has the same effect as taking money out of circulation. The Fed raises the fed funds rate to reduce the amount of capital in the money supply. Banks have less money to lend when this happens. They have to pay each other more to keep funds in the overnight account in order to fulfill the Fed's reserve requirement.5 Raising the fed funds rate causes all interest rates to increase. The Fed announced March 16, 2022, that it would raise the target fed funds rate by 25 basis points (0.25%) — the first such increase since 2018. It's part of an effort to combat rising inflation. The increase brings the target range for the fed funds rate to 0.25% to 0.50%. Before the announcement, the target rate was 0% to 0.25%.6 This practice makes it more expensive to borrow for business expansion, automobiles, and homes. It slows economic growth, drying up the demand that drives inflation. The Fed can also reverse the effects of quantitative easing (QE). It does this by selling Treasuries and mortgage-backed securities to its banks. The Fed removes dollars from the banks' balance sheets and replaces them with these securities.7 What happens to the dollars? They vanish. In other words, they go back into thin air, where the Fed got them in the first place. The US National Debt and other info in realtime https://usdebtclock.org/
