The beauty of using an agent.
ThailandRyan replied to JeffersLos's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
In the US.... Look up Western Alliance Bank. But then American express also has a Savings account program through its Banking arm that has a high yield Savings account as well currently paying 3.75% but also slated to increase as the Fed adjusts rates upward. Here's another one at almost 5% https://www.ufbdirect.com/savingsaccount?utm_campaign=02714_ufb_savings_ddue_rakuten_0223&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_source=rakuten&utm_content=8&utm_term=The+Annuity+Expert&siteID=G1Zs4Rh9oI0-6zJstRcidk3H3ccka8_4VQ&ranMID=44016&ranEAID=G1Zs4Rh9oI0&ranSiteID=G1Zs4Rh9oI0-6zJstRcidk3H3ccka8_4VQ -
The system seems to be in a state of dissaray. I submitted my housekeepers 90 day report online and the system did exactly what yours did on the submitted date, then a few ago I got the email saying it was due today. Her 90 days is due on the 31st. So I submitted it 14 days prior. Nothing yet as it shows pending in the system.

Yep the bedbugs would give you loads of interest....... Yet, this just rolled in from my HY Savings account, one of 3 in the US Dear ....., We want to let you know that as of March 17, 2023 the Annual Percentage Yield (APY) on your High Yield Savings Account has increased to 4.65%.1 This variable rate is subject to change over time based on economic and competitive factors. You should know that this rate is significantly more than the national average2, so you'll continue to get more out of your savings with your xxxxxxxx Savings High Yield Savings Account. I call that a pretty good amount of interest on the 30K in that account which is the repatriated conversion of USD from THB. after scuttling the Fixed Deposit account I held for years here for my O-A Retirement extension. -

Red cards issued in Phuket, foreigners deported

Have they not already molested the rules and changed them to suit there own views in several locations around Thailand already? Yes it's a rhetorical question. -
Easy, pay the rent for a spot, rent the equipment needed, buy the supplies and medicine from a pharmacy wholesaler and Bob's your Uncle. Then advertise on the windows, on Line, and message others. I am sure he probably had worked on a clinic as an aide before as well as he said he had worked on a hospital so he had contacts. Probably had a financial partner as well....it ain't cheap.

Google can help all your medical problems, just ask and a remedy can be found....crazy people follow the advice given instead of seeing a real licensed doctor, all in the name of saving money... Maybe this is where the doctor learned to heal people without taking the Proper training and certification.

Difference blood sugar measurement (device vs blood test)
ThailandRyan replied to MJCM's topic in Health and Medicine
Some meters do need to have a control test done with the solution which came with the test strips when you start a new box of test strips. I know my One Touch Verio does and I am able to order the strips for it here in country. My meter generally is off about 7 to 10 points on the mornings I do my blood test at the clinic. It gives me a good re-assurance that my numbers for BS are not out of whack and the meter is faulty, which can occur over time. -

Wow sucks for you. My Fixed deposit account at one time was making 2.5%, then it went down to .5% in 2020, it was back up to 1% when I closed it out in January. The interest it earned every year had been paying for the annual extension of stay, the gas to get there, the bank statement, and then putting 1k Thb back into the account to show the deposit day of. Not much more, but hey the 800K in the bank method did pay for the extension of stay and then some......now with the new LTR I repatriated back to the US to my HY savings account making 4.25% -

Will Thailand’s Long Term Resident Visa work for you?
ThailandRyan replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
If you never leave the country during the year you still need to pay 1900 baht to stay in the country. Only certain areas in Thailand, the bigger Areas like BKK will do the 90 day for you but elsewhere you must do it yourself.....no false info. Best look at it yourself. If staying for a continuous year in Thailand, Thailand Elite members are required to personally report to immigration to get a stay extension. Members will be charged THB 1,900 at the immigration office when applying for this extension. The extension is not required should the member leave Thailand at any point during the 365-day period. https://www.thai-elite.com/faq.html Do I have to report to the Immigration Office every 90 day? How does that work? New Member has to do a 90 days reporting of residence address every 3 months of continuous stay. The easiest way to fo a 90 days reporting is via immigration website during working hour, https://extranet.immigration.go.th/fn90online/online/tm47/TM47Action.doAs website do only work sometime, via registered post will be the next best option. For more information please visit this page, https://immigration.go.th/content/sv_90dayIf you live in Bangkok, you may drop your passport at Thailand Elite office and collect once its done on your behalf. -

Will Thailand’s Long Term Resident Visa work for you?
ThailandRyan replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
So I should spend 2 million baht on an Elite Visa, and if I stay in the country all the time and never leave I still must do 90 day reports and annualy pay 1900 baht to extend my stay...vs. paying 100k for 20 years, 50k every 10 years, never having to extend every year or do 90 day reports...hmmm i know which ones the no brainer as in life everyone needs health insurance.....
