They usually come into the house in rice and then spread to other cereals and noodles. Ants are equally as bad and just as small. Nothing to do other than trace the infestation throw everything out and use insecticide. Spray companies help

Believe the S Korea spike is due to one individual who didn't report travelling to Wuhan in December. I think the other spikes will be traced to similar irresponsible individuals. It's either the Chinese who are world wide travelers lying or Bats spreading the virus. I know which my money is on!

Timing is everything! Disband the Opposition just before a censure debate. Bet Trump and Johnson wish they could do this!

Corona viruses like seasonal flu peak in cold weather and die off in the heat so Thailand could be helped by the current high heat and humidity

Dissolving Opposition Parties demonstrates to the Outside World that this is not and never has been a democracy as if Coups every 4 years hasn't

We (200 home village) have recently been connected to Government Water ( previously had a village borehole). Began to notice gurgling in our storage tank from the ball valve. Apparently it's from air in the new pipes coming through the new meter. The air gets into the pipes from leaks and temporary disconnections BUT the meter also registers this water/air mix for which we are charged so although Government water is cheaper we are metered as using more. Fortunately we have retained our bore hole connections and can switch back if the bills get bigger buts it's worth checking that you are not paying for aireated water

Paperwork for a marriage extension is little different from a retirement extension and as you do it 30 days before your previous extension expires there is plenty of time for corrections.

Why unnecessarily tie up large sums of cash in banks if you don't have to?

In the case of an infectious norovirus it is essential for the public health authority to confirm where cases have been found to ensure that health workers transport authorities and the general public can take precautions. It is highly irresponsible not to do so. China has finally done so and the rest of the world is hopefully following.

Thai spouses should get 50pc of UK state pensions as they do private pensions as they have assisted their husbands through their dottage

You can easily see the cameras and highway police well in advance unless you are driving at an unsafe speed and a safe speed is normally well below the limit!

Landlord should have insurance for glass. A/C is your responsibility to clean as your use made it dirty. Bloodstained mattress should be replaced. If you stopped paying rent then you defaulted, should have been evicted immediately with loss of any deposit.

Can we get the Thai Government to enter into a reciprocal agreement including pensions? Can we get the 5000 frozen UK pensioners to lobby this Minister. Worth a try!

Obviously not!
As one of the worst affected outside of China Thailand should have closed its borders to the Chinese immediately. As China owns most of Thailand they won't do anything.

They want you with a blue pen to fill in their version of the TM7 and draw a map to show that it is actually you applying and you residing at the address given rather than a scam application where you may have used a fraudulent marriage address and application.

Watch out for land tax!

The rental contract could attract a land tax liability

What Thais call air con isn't! It's just Comfort Cooling. Eg refrigeration only. Proper air conditioning would remove particles but is very expensive as it heats or cools filters and controls humidity as well by taking in air from outside and conditions it

If you haven't got 12mths of FTT transfers you will have to stick with the 800/400 in the bank untill you have established 12 mths of deposits

The reason we settled in Thailand when I retired is that we couldn't afford to live in the UK so we paid off all debts and can live off my pensions. My wife can cash in when I'm gone and join her son's in the UK where she would have to work or stay here. Up to her.

My Isuzu dealer drains the oil and flushes which is the only way to change oil on a diesel. When I used to do it myself I always removed the sump to clean it and the magnetic plug always collected a lot of shards.

Air quality in Hua Hin
in Hua Hin and Cha-Am
Posted
Air quality web sites don't help as you get readings ranging from 50 80 and 120 all on the same day at the same time. Easier to look at distant hills or towers and if you can't see them it's bad
