  1. Its' those who are above him he should worry about. He is held in contempt by the ruling class.
  2. Good question. I doubt insurance would pay out on damage from falling bodies.
  3. Thaksin getting a bit ahead if himself, as usual. Wouldn't surprise me if he winds up in exile, again.
  4. As can be seen there are many foreigners in Thailand who hate dogs, and who hate animals generally. A word of warning, such people are sick. Keep your distance.
  5. Correction, many of them are a**holes.
  6. Expect a lot more vote buying and corruption now Thaksin is back.
  7. You don't know what you're talking about. The treatment captive elephants suffer in Thailand is appalling and desperately sad.
  8. Ridiculous, ignorant comment. Cannabis induces calm, not loss of control. Alcohol and/or meth, on the other hand, lead to drunkeness and aggression.
  9. Probably fell down the drain and banged his head however, whatever the reason for his death, Koh Tao is not a place I would want to be wandering about drunk or in any way not in full control of myself.
  10. Good news, hopefully. It's about time the UK began to prioritise it's defence budget.
  11. In terms of sequence, did he bathe in the water he had already defecated in ?
  12. Public toilets have been tried but everything inside, and I mean everything, gets nicked.
  13. Difficult to forecast. On balance I think he will probably stay.
  14. An utter farce, based on a vote-buying promise made without any idea as to how it would be financed. Question now is how will the loan be re-paid ?
  15. Perhaps, but the villa is rented, and the flights could not have been pre-paid. Certainly a rather extravagant life-style based on people bathing with, and taking pictures of, a few elephants.
  16. Understood, however, if I was found not guilty in a criminal court only to be later found guilty in a civil court I may feel somewhat aggrieved, and somewhat reluctant to fork out 30m plus US dollars.
  17. I well remember, many years ago, during my first experience of Songkran, a lady in traditional dress approaching me in Lumpini and asking if she could pour a small amount of water on my wrists, and having done so wishing me good luck and a happy new year, with a lovely smile. Happy days...
  18. The London Met are too busy trying to find hate crimes on the internet than to be concerned about murder.
