They say by hook and crook and cheating by massaging the figures, he has built up a massive '; war chest ' to fight the next election from sources that say he duped many unsuspecting donors. Anyway, the USA can't be in a bigger mess politically than we are in the UK. We have a choice between lousy and terrible.

Don't you realize that these are the people who pay large amounts of money to the higher ups in the RTP and thst is precisely why it won't stop. In the meantime low level criminals and overstayers will be paraded in front of the cameras to give the impression that the Police are actually doing something. Its all a complete charade!

I know about DBS checks as my son (deals with adults with mental health issues) Sister ( deals with kids with severe autism) and my ex wife ( deals with vulnerable elderly ) all have to go through these every so often due to their fields of work. However, what was suggested would require a PNC check ( Police National computer ) which is different. I do not believe people travelling internationally are subjected to these in many countries as it would be time consuming nature and costly. There are checks carried out on passengers flying to Thailand from the UK but I believe this is for passenger lists to ensure people are not blacklisted etc I am unsure if this applies to all incoming passengers from all countries.

Unlike Africa " If you can't feed em, don't breed em " but the message never gets across. We will soon have all the Christmas ads begging westerners money to cure everything from Pneumonia to filthy water in Africa along with the obligatory kids with runny noses crying with flies in their eyes whilst you are looking forward to your Christmas dinner. Meanwhile African leaders are building palaces and buying property in Monaco.

Thai PM vows not to tolerate corruption in government bureaucracy
Scouse123 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Thais love the ' drama and role playing ' of it all even though it leads nowhere. Load of bull. That's why he continues to wear a mask so you can't see him smirking behind it. -
That is not possible so I don't know why you plucked that one from the sky as an option. That doesn't work either, the prison population only care about themselves, it's the only way to survive. Absolute filth they are and totally agree with you, who wouldn't agree these filth need really to be incarcerated for a long time, they really are a danger to society at large.

15 drug smugglers killed near Thai-Myanmar border in Chiang Mai
Scouse123 replied to webfact's topic in Chiang Mai News
And you think now the culprits have been assassinated or eliminated there are no witnesses left that the said drugs won't end up on the streets of Thailand? How long have you lived here? -
Soi twilight in downtown Bangkok near Patpong went for years issuing only one year leases. Massively popular soi, with gay and straight bars and eateries. When people were selling I told them they were only selling a one year lease and couldn't command the silly prices they were asking for nor justify the investment. I was answered that it had always been that way and was as ' safe as houses ' The entire Soi was sold by the landlord for redevelopment, new owners came in and gave every bar six months to get out. The owners wouldn't have meetings nor discussions, they just sent police and lawyers.

This sounds like he has taken a sub lease for 12 months from the leaseholder and doesn't own anything.

Guys, We are doing a three country holiday in May next year, Thailand ( where I live) Cambodia and Vietnam. It isn't to early to ask as we are getting flights booked now. I am travelling with three ladies, my sister, my niece and ex wife. I know Hanoi ,Sapa and Halong Bay and will be taking my family there anyway for the 3 day 2 night cruise. The next stage was more tricky as I was looking at Phu Quoc for a beach resort for 4 nights and 5 days, however, it seems silly flying all the way down there to fly back to Hanoi. It would be cheaper and faster to go when we are in Cambodia if that was the case. There must be some reasonable places in North Vietnam , even Central Vietnam if we could get a decent train, with decent beaches?........................ or not too far from Hanoi. Any suggestions please would help me plan this out.

Indonesia passes criminal code banning sex outside marriage
Scouse123 replied to webfact's topic in World News
Why? They have no respect for our cultures and wish to bring their own ideas of Islam and impose it wherever they settle in the world We dont like persecution of gays, we don't like women being treated as second class and restricted from schools and universities. We are opposed to child marriage and FGMT, It is bigoted and a non inclusive way of living, and uses their own selective interpretation of their views of Islam. -

Thai PM hints that he wants to stay on for two more years
Scouse123 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Why not stay till 2030 and make it a nice round sixteen years since you illegally removed an elected government, staged a coup and took the country back to the ' dark days ' What good has this guy done? What has he actually achieved in nearly 9 years?- 38 replies

Show me ONE Muslim country that operates free and fair elections, grants freedom of speech and worship and respects people from other faiths and treats women equally. I'll wait! -
Indonesia passes criminal code banning sex outside marriage
Scouse123 replied to webfact's topic in World News
Well done Indonesia on taking the country well and truly back to the Middle ages with the usual suspect, an out of date and backwards 7th century religious policy, not suited for the modern times. Also, prison for anybody who voices an opinion that contradicts the President or the introduction of archaic laws by his out of touch government!
