  1. You've got "Plus 67" on soi 67 and "Sukhumvit Plus" on the corner of Sukhumvit and Rama 4. Both of these are within very easy walking distance to Prakanong BTS. More like 16-17K for a studio or 18-20K for a 1 bedroom though. For the price range you are looking at I don't think you will get anything within walking distance.

Perhaps take a stroll down Soi 71 and have a sniff around down there...

  2. I have noticed this too. Typically you will get some rain this time of year, but I reckon it's been much wetter so far. Friends in the UK have been telling me that it has been one of the dryest April's in history. Maybe we are getting their rain...

  3. Bangkok Pizza changed his hours of service, now the deliver till 2.00am on weekends only, and till 12.00 the other days.

Becuase they sell only western food, they only have work when farangs are around.

Yeah, they have also changed the time they open from 11am to 4pm!! No more cheap lunch deal for 89 Baht!! Scandalous.

  4. Ball, do you live in Baan Saran Nuch? If so, same place as me!

I was gonna live there as well. It was a toss up between there and the place I eventually chose in Prakanong.

Baan Saran Nuch is really nice and great value for money. (No pool tho).

  5. Hi,

I have just bought an O2 Atom Exec PDA with Windows Mobile 5.0 software.

I want to be able to recieve my work emails via the company server. I can connect to the internet no problem, however whenever I try to download POP3 emails from my work server I get a message saying that I cannot connect to the server or something.

I think the problem is related to the fact that on my laptop and desktop versions of "Outlook" I can input the Incoming and Outgoing "Port Settings" 9000 and 25 respectively. However my PDA doesn't seem to have the ability to input these numbers.

Any suggestions how I can get it working please?

    Cheers.

  6. I hate rainy season. Getting pissed on everyday and arriving at work/pub/anywhere like a drowned rat. Cool season is the best by far, all 2 months of it :o

Although I do like it when I'm at home nice and warm and a huge storm rolls in.

  7. The Omni Hotel on Soi 4 has 2 squash courts.

President Hotel at the end of Soi 24 has a fitness club [Capitol Club ?]that has courts.

British Club down on Silom Soi 18 is very private but they have courts too.

Any idea of the prices? I'm also looking to start playing. Hopefully around Sukhumvit...

By the way Libya 115, just goes to show people do read the news sub forum, got 60 replies on this topic already.

Yes; this sub-forum is proving very popular; I often receive PM's praising my hard work and absolute dedication to the responsible and important task of bringing the latest Pattaya news (good or bad) to your attention.

I still miss your jokes tho Libya. :o

  10. Sorry to disagree, but I found the pizza from "Bangkok Pizza" to be pretty dry and generally not all that great...

There are definatly better places out there IMO, for example, "Pizza Mania" and "Bella Napoli"
