Diesel engined vehicles are already being hit hard, when I bought my last Ford transit van 3 years ago I could have any engine I wanted as long as it was diesel...

Even that 3 year old engine will cost me £8 (10USD/320THB) a day with introduction of Birmingham's clean Air Zone by the end of the year. seems at the time I bought my van Ford were well behind other engine manufacturers and had I bought a van by another manufacturer I would not have to pay the Clean air leavy/tax.

Seems we have waited to long for motor manufacturers to bring in electric vehicles so now they are being forced to do so, the development and manufacture electric vehicles in the UK would be a good long term investment, Particularly in the development and manufacture of electric motors, batteries and the the electronic drive systems but it the short term it is going to leave a hole in our economy.

Brexit has a lot to do with closure of manufacturing plants in the UK and the uncertainty over if we will have a deal or even if we will leave means there is no plans by international companies to invest in the UK, almost certainly had we not been planning to leave the EU there would have been EU cash for development of electric vehicles in the UK.

So we would have had EU cash, this obviously comes from the billions we pay in, sounds like a good business plan to me,  not,

Keeping someone who's 69 years old locked up for a crime they committed when they were 19 is insane any way you look at it. Either don't pussy around when it comes to the death penalty, or release prisoners after they've served two or three decades max. All other aspects aside, how much has this travesty been costing thus far? Incarceration, appeals, parole board hearings, etc. etc. Insane amounts for sure.

And what about the people who died, can they be resurrected, they paid with their lives, they should have shot this vermin after being found guilty.

  3. You should not change your routine due to some con man in a dress. I have had this happen to me and politely told them NO, when they get persistent and annoying tell them to F off. For me respect is earned and just because some people want to live a fantasy life and dress up as most religious types want to do it does not make them any better than anyone else.

  4. A couple of guys worked on the beach and one of them was always pulling the women the other had no such luck. The unlucky guy asked his friend how he was so successful with pulling the girls, and he said that every day he put a potato down his trunks and that attracted them, he said right starting tomorrow i am going to do the same. The next day they both met again, and the one guy complained that he had put a potato down there but it was not working in fact it was worse!! His mate said the idea was to put it down the front of his trunks.

  5. Looking at the original article and the photos of the bike and helmet, which are somewhat further up the road, it looks like the helmet is in perfect condition, no sign of damage, also the strap looks as if it is done up, i would think that the helmet was not being worn at the time of the crash. If the medics took it off it would be near the person, and if he was wearing it, it would be damaged. Hope he recovers fully.

    Apply due legal process.

If his extradition is approved by a court and he fails to have it overthrown on appeal, then yes extradite him.

If his extradition is not approved by a court or he wins an appeal don’t extradite him.

So he will be at the mercy of corrupt governments

    Anyone else into this?

I lived in an apartment in BKK in 2000 went up to the helipad one night to watch a meteor shower absolutely awesome, watched some fizzle out between the apartment blocks, and could hear others cheering and applauding on other buildings.

  8. I played football in a lowly league for a few years and a few bob. I love how clubs talk of cheating when it comes to shirts etc. How about these premadonnas cheating on the pitch week after week, shirt pulling wrap around arms, shoving at corners, looking for imaginary blood, following an imaginary elbow, rolling around like a  wounded animal, when having a leg brushed by an opponent's sock, give me a break. That's why i only watch when England play.
