My wife had not choice when we registered our marriage in 2001. It was the law (changed in 2002) then that she had to use my name. Never a problem for her having my family name.
Same for me and same year as well

Keeping someone who's 69 years old locked up for a crime they committed when they were 19 is insane any way you look at it. Either don't pussy around when it comes to the death penalty, or release prisoners after they've served two or three decades max. All other aspects aside, how much has this travesty been costing thus far? Incarceration, appeals, parole board hearings, etc. etc. Insane amounts for sure.
And what about the people who died, can they be resurrected, they paid with their lives, they should have shot this vermin after being found guilty.

You should not change your routine due to some con man in a dress. I have had this happen to me and politely told them NO, when they get persistent and annoying tell them to F off. For me respect is earned and just because some people want to live a fantasy life and dress up as most religious types want to do it does not make them any better than anyone else.

What i don't understand is that it says in the article that the hospital found out a few days after his death about the permission to donate and they then used his organs. I thought that organs had to be taken from the donor immediately?

How nice to have all these funny posts instead of the usual bashing of whoever. I am just north of Nakhon Phanom and not much happening at the moment so i am relaxing my braces.

A couple of guys worked on the beach and one of them was always pulling the women the other had no such luck. The unlucky guy asked his friend how he was so successful with pulling the girls, and he said that every day he put a potato down his trunks and that attracted them, he said right starting tomorrow i am going to do the same. The next day they both met again, and the one guy complained that he had put a potato down there but it was not working in fact it was worse!! His mate said the idea was to put it down the front of his trunks.

An American husband and wife team who ran a Web design business successful enough to be sold, and still relatively young, are unable to drum up one bank deposit of $25K which will allow their mother to stay in Thailand until she passes.
During the course of their business careers, did they not forge strong enough relationships with clients or collaborators to be able to ask around for help now that they have a real problem?
Don't they have have any family or family friends in America? Is gathering $25K really such an insurmountable challenge?
Do they really think that living in Manila is going to be that much cheaper than Chiang Mai?
Do they understand how much harder it is to find a place to live there, and how much more expensive rent and utilities are?
Have they ever experienced the existential struggle of trying to find edible food in the Philippines?
Surely, if they had made any friends at all in during their 4 years in Thailand, someone would have pointed out that they can simply pay $600 per year for an agent to grease the wheels for them and stay right here in Chiang Mai. I mean, seriously, that is less that what their flights to Manila will cost them.My guess is that their back story is bullshit and this is an attempt to salt gullible people, farang and Thai, into donating money to them. They have no intention of folding up their tents and moving their circus to Manila.
The thing that struck me was all you said plus the fact that

I agree something a bit strange here. I notice that they have only had her for about 18 months and she is in Chang Mai doesn't say where they are??? but sounds as if they are not with her!! it would be a dam site cheaper to have Mum at home and employ a carer or two.

Am I the only person who thinks Farage is a smooth operating creep?
YES

Looking at the original article and the photos of the bike and helmet, which are somewhat further up the road, it looks like the helmet is in perfect condition, no sign of damage, also the strap looks as if it is done up, i would think that the helmet was not being worn at the time of the crash. If the medics took it off it would be near the person, and if he was wearing it, it would be damaged. Hope he recovers fully.

Apply due legal process.
If his extradition is approved by a court and he fails to have it overthrown on appeal, then yes extradite him.
If his extradition is not approved by a court or he wins an appeal don’t extradite him.
So he will be at the mercy of corrupt governments

I lived in an apartment in BKK in 2000 went up to the helipad one night to watch a meteor shower absolutely awesome, watched some fizzle out between the apartment blocks, and could hear others cheering and applauding on other buildings.

I played football in a lowly league for a few years and a few bob. I love how clubs talk of cheating when it comes to shirts etc. How about these premadonnas cheating on the pitch week after week, shirt pulling wrap around arms, shoving at corners, looking for imaginary blood, following an imaginary elbow, rolling around like a wounded animal, when having a leg brushed by an opponent's sock, give me a break. That's why i only watch when England play.

Here is a copy of a Thai will in Thai and English. When you complete the will it has to be witnessed by a person in authority mine was done by the local village chief, you then give to the executor of the will. In regard to the money i keep for my retirement visa, i have this in an account that my Thai wife can access with my ATM details and we have arranged the maximum withdrawal amount as 500k so within a couple of days she is home and dry and that solves all the problems with the banks.
