How many times have we heard that? You will see the next lawsuit about stolen elections (the kraken B.S., etc....), you will see the supreme court ruling about elections, you will see the election audit in (choose the place), you will see the IG investigation about the Russia probe, you will see the Durham investigation, and now It's you will see when the GOP will take back the house....

National Archives says it still doesn’t have all Trump White House records

“Where’s the beef? I need some beef,” US District Senior Judge Raymond Dearie told the attorneys during a telephone status hearing Tuesday. Dearie also suggested there was a “certain incongruity” to Trump’s lawyers claiming so far that at least one document was both personal to Trump and covered by executive privilege, a protection that applies to government information. ???? https://news.yahoo.com/trump-special-master-says-no-171409213.html -
Assault on Kiev: Russian helicopters swoop above Ukraine's capital
candide replied to Chris.B's topic in The War in Ukraine
To some extent only. Take the case of the most notorious case: the scam war in Irak. Nearly nobody will agree now that it may have been justified. Even at that time, several European countries opposed it (ex France), the same countries which are against Putin now. Other cases, such as Syria, have been motivated by stupidity (help an opposition which was mainly composed of islamic groups), rather than by an imperialist stance. -
Assault on Kiev: Russian helicopters swoop above Ukraine's capital

The fact that other countries have been imperialists is irrelevant to the case. I understand Russia was not happy, but it's not a reason to start a war. Russia (and in particular Putin) is responsible for the fate it experienced from the 90's (its decline). As you seem to be knowledgeable about history, it is obvious that the will of Eastern Europe countries to join NATO has been caused by former episodes of Russian imperialism. Putin is a fail. He has not been able to develop his country despite its huge natural resources and quality human resources (in particular in S&T). Properly managed Russia should be like California. He has also not been able to provide well-being to the population, as indicated (among others) by the declining population. It's not surprising that other countries don't want to partner with a loser, on top of it imperialist. Russia has nearly no soft power. Even China, despite being pleased to annoy Western countries and in particular the USA, doesn't want to commit too much because Russia weights peanuts from a business point of view. -
Exactly! And unlike Hunter, he was not only a private citizen, but a government official! So the GOP House reps don't want to investigate a government official, which is their role, but want to investigate a private citizen who had no business with the government!

So, if true (remember It's from NYPost and Fox News) they got a meeting and a handshake. Big deal! Have they got a procurement from the government which Joe could have influenced? No. Have they got a suspect authorisation Joe could have influenced? No! In brief, you have nothing!

If it weren't coming from Grassley, it would be more credible! ???? Anyway, if Hunter has committed any offense, let's convict him. No problem.

House January 6 committee votes to subpoena Trump during Thursday’s hearing
candide replied to Scott's topic in World News
Maybe sketchy, but more likely because It's better to accumulate testimonies and proof in order to confront Trump and Spence with this accumulated evidence. You know, like " we have 3 testimonies under oath and several messages showing that ...., do you swear under oath It's not true?" -

It's actually a good tactic. Offer an very high amount of money and if the person doesn't come up with a proof, you are sure he has no proof! -
Paradoxally, under international laws, Gazprom needs to pay penalties if it doesn't fulfill its contract obligations. That's why it never did officially cut supply. Previous cuts have been justified by the refusal of some countries to pay in Rubles (ex Finland), or technical problems (force majeure). This sabotage creates another convenient case of "force majeure".

Logic minded posters will have realized that Putin was waiting for the Covid pandemic to fade (1 million pop decrease in 2021), and for the price of energy to go up! Instead of buying lame MAGA propaganda. "Analysis finds natural population fell by 997,000 between October 2020 and September 2021 – with Covid cited as principal cause" https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/oct/13/russias-population-undergoes-largest-ever-peacetime-decline Oil prices climb back to pre-pandemic levels https://www.bbc.com/news/business-55975700 -

FSB, Transnitria, Chechenia, Bosnia, Crimea, Donbass.... The guy has a stainless CV!???? -
Lol! Trump is whining about the media supposedly downplaying the size of the crowd attending his rally! He's completely out of touch with reality! ????

As usual a misleading headline by Fox News. You failed to mention that respondents could agree with several statements at the same time. 63% also thought it was an attempt to overturn elections and 55% an insurrection. From your linked article: "For starters, "a protest that went too far" was the overwhelming favorite of the 2,046 Americans who were polled with 76% agreeing with that characterization of Jan. 6. The second most popular result was "trying to overturn the election and keep Donald Trump in power" with 63%. Both of those options were omitted in the graphic bolstered by CBS. Meanwhile, "an insurrection," which came at a distant third with 55% of Americans was kept in the graphic among the others which polled even less popular. "
