Could this corruption scandal signal the end of the EU ?

Who's trying to brush it under the carpet? No one and certainly not the EU, as confirmed by your previous posts. Your are making it up! Good to see some real news and not the same old ones posted over and over! Thanks for informing us! -
Could this corruption scandal signal the end of the EU ?

Good from the President of the Council to express his sense of ethics. So did the President of the EP and others. It seems the "corrupt" EU is not minimising these crimes and is not trying to cover them up. (Unlike another politician we know, but that would be a bit off-topic). -

Not really news. The article you linked dates from 15 December. -
On top of being impractible, it probably would no be deterrent. Currently, when they are stopped, they just try again until it works.

How was she acting on behalf of the other MEPs? Who are these numerous corrupt MEPs? She's corrupt and a few others may be. Lock them up! However, It's no evidence the whole EU is corrupt. There are corrupt politicians everywhere, included in UK. -

They organise this operation for only 200 people/year? It's like crushing a fly with a sledgehammer!

Trump Organization found guilty on multiple counts of criminal tax fraud

Have you read the article? It doesn't particularly support your claims! (In case you did not realise, the title is meant to be ironic). -
Musk sets up Twitter poll asking if he should step down as head

Are anti-Semitic posts currently allowed on Twitter? I thought the 'left-leaning' censorship took care of it already. -

I hope so! I'm ready for a good laugh. -

The president of the Council is directly elected in his country. The president of the EP is directly elected and the president of the Commission (equivalent to cabinet) is appointed by elected national government. Of course, it's much more democratic in the UK with an unelected Chief of State, and an unelected Chamber of Lords. Lol! The most funny is that Brexiteers have justified leaving by an alleged cabal in the EU to become a federal state, and are also criticising the EU for not being a federal state (which would be de facto the case with an elected president as in the U.S.). -

Twitter suspends journalists who have been covering Elon Musk and the company

Do you sometimes read replies to your previous posts? From the link you posted, Trump was banned for glorifying violence, it was not an isolated event and there was a context. It's well explained in the text you linked and it was not just because he did not want to attend the inauguration. There is no glorifying of violence in her post. It's a false equivalence. -

The Libs of TikTok account was originally registered publicly in Chaya Raichik’s name, it was not a secret. There was no 'doxxing'. Actually, it was also quite influencial in the right-wing sphere and far from being "not newsworthy" "The content has been amplified by TV personalities like Carlson and Laura Ingraham, and has also found fans among conservatives such as Christina Pushaw and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ press secretary, who Lorenz wrote in her story once claimed Libs of TikTok offered inspiration for a new Florida law that limits classroom instruction on sexual orientation and gender identity—which critics have dubbed the Don’t Say Gay law." https://www.forbes.com/sites/madelinehalpert/2022/04/19/right-wing-figures-attack-journalist-taylor-lorenz-for-revealing-creator-of-libs-of-tiktok/?sh=37edff9442d9 -

Have you read the text from the link you posted? "We assessed the two Tweets referenced above under our Glorification of Violence policy, which aims to prevent the glorification of violence that could inspire others to replicate violent acts and determined that they were highly likely to encourage and inspire people to replicate the criminal acts that took place at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021." https://blog.twitter.com/en_us/topics/company/2020/suspension It's a lame false equivalence. Is there any glorification of violence in Lightfoot's tweet? -

So not about media and not about BLM. Change of target now! Well, as Placeholder already replied, this expression may be used in a figurative way and not necessarily calling for violence. Was it an isolated event, or a consistent pattern, i.e. did she repeatedly sent tweets calling for violence and spreading lies? -

You're not American but eager to adopt the American right-wing propaganda and false equivalences. The BLM riots did not try to steal elections by invading the Capitol, and creating fake electors lists, etc... They were sometimes violent (and people have been indicted and convicted for that) but had a legitimate aim. As about the media, they did not incite violence as you (read: the right-wing propaganda) are claiming, and you have no proof about it. -

More precisely, rightwingers who complained about Twitter censoring people who were lying, now have no problem with censoring people who are telling the truth.
