This poll is a survey of less then 2,000 registered voters. That is a pretty small pool. Would anyone out there agree with me on that fact alone?

1,995 respondents, lol. The margin of error is indicated on the figure: +/- 2%. Actually the sample size is bigger than most other polls which sample is usually in the 1000/1500 range.

Additionally, it is not a situation such as 52% for and 48% against. 57% are for witnesses and 24% against. It is beyond any possible margin of error or bias. The same survey has been made in December and the current results are quite coherent with the previous results.

and they don't have to have any.

    Nothing to fear.

They don't have to have any... However, it would not be supported by public opinion. It's a tragic choice for them. On the one hand, If they don't accept new witnesses and evidence, they will be seen as covering up Trump. On the other hand, If they accept new witnesses, they will make it worse for Trump.

“OMB’s assertions have no basis in law,” the GAO argues, referring to the White House Office of Management and Budget.

OMB spokeswoman Rachel Semmel pushed back on GAO’s conclusions.

“We disagree with GAO’s opinion,” Semmel said. “OMB uses its apportionment authority to ensure taxpayer dollars are properly spent consistent with the president’s priorities and with the law.”

According to the OMB,It's a opinion, which is a nothing burger! The trial  will conclude the impeachment process ,the result, the President stays despite the partisan radical dems objections!

A few useful information on the GAO:

"The GAO is headed by the Comptroller General of the U.S., a professional and non-partisan position in the U.S. government. The comptroller general is appointed by the president, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, for a 15-year, non-renewable term. The president selects a nominee from a list of at least three individuals recommended by an eight-member bipartisan, bicameral commission of congressional leaders. During such term, the comptroller general has standing to pursue litigation to compel access to federal agency information."

By the way, when you quote (i.e Semmel), please make sure the linked source includes the quote (which is not the case in your post)

Apparently, there is more to come at the time of the trial. Could it be that Pelosi was waiting for these additional releases of documents.... ????
