Let's consider the drug problem you mentioned. It's certainly not by lying and addressing the wrong issues that he will solve this problem. For example, most drug enters through legal ports of entries, hidden in cars, trucks or train (and boats), and is not carried by illegal immigrants! So the only way to reduce drug trafficking is to increase the rate of controls (search, etc...) in legal ports of entry. Preventing illegal immigrants from entering the U.S. will likely reduce the number of illegal immigrants, it will not reduce the amount of drug smuggled. The other issue is demand. What is Trump doing to reduce demand? It's certainly not his simplistic and show-business style policies which will decrease demand for drug. It is also interesting that you never complained about people or media just sitting on the sideline and complaining during Biden's mandate (and in particular from Trump and the MAGAsphere). 🙂
