  5. From the 'lefty' Fortune! 😃 "More than one year into the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown, there’s little to suggest White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller has achieved his goal of boosting the U.S.-born workforce by closing borders. A National Foundation for American Policy (NFAP) policy brief published this month noted from February 2025 to February 2026, labor force participation for U.S.-born workers age 16 and older actually fell from 61.4% to 61%, citing jobs data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics." Trump’s immigration crackdown is backfiring by hurting the U.S.-born workers it was meant to help, data showshttps://fortune.com/2026/03/10/trump-immigration-crackdown-backfiring-no-new-jobs-us-born-workers/ No paywall version here: https://www.aol.com/articles/trump-immigration-crackdown-backfiring-hurting-182632124.html Report here: https://nfap.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/US-Labor-Force-Analysis-Jan-2025-to-Feb-2026.NFAP-Policy-Brief.March-2026.pdf Graph from the FRED
  6. Ahem... Just days before the United States launched a major military operation in Iran, FBI Director Kash Patel fired a dozen agents and staff members from a counterintelligence unit tasked with monitoring threats from Iran, according to two sources familiar with the matter. They were ousted for a simple reason: Each was involved in the investigation of President Donald Trump’s alleged retention of classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago estate. As a result, Patel hamstrung the Washington, DC-based FBI counterintelligence unit, known as CI-12, which handles cases ranging from mishandling of classified documents to tracking foreign spies operating on US soil. Kash Patel gutted FBI counterintelligence team tasked with tracking Iranian threats days before US strikes, sources say https://www.cnn.com/2026/03/03/politics/patel-fbi-national-security-division-firings-iran
  7. And as you did about each and every lawsuit, recount, audit and committee investigation, you will not acknowledge the outcome if it fails to prove that the 2020 election had been rigged by massive voter fraud! 🤣🤣🤣
  8. This war actually has quite positive impacts for Putin, as it is aiming at another prize, namely Ukraine. Sanctions are being waived, energy price is increasing, and less weapons will be available to Ukraine. It's less rosy for China, apart from the fact that the US is wasting its weapon stock, and is also transferring some military assets to the ME. However, the negative consequences are likely not enough to justify a military involvement. And as Russia, it is mainly interested in another prize.
  9. BS. The majority is against the current regime. Having said that, there is still a significant minority supporting it, and it's likely to be enough, as it includes religious nutters. Shia Islam is fundamentally a religion defined by a theology of martyrdom.
  10. Following House investigations in the US and the UK have clearly shown that intelligence services had been pressured to provide the right outcome, that information had been knowingly overstated by governments, and even that known fake information had been presented (i.e. Powell at the UN).
  11. Oil prices surging after an attack on Iran. Who would have thought? 😂
  12. Iran linked ships... https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2026-03-08/hormuz-tracker-iran-linked-ships-are-the-only-ones-to-transit
  13. Well, the most screwd up aspect is that there are no democratic elections.
  14. You are completely wrong, as usual. The crime peak occured in 2020, a lockdown year. Covid lockdowns stopped in 2021, and the crime rate decreased in 2022, 2023, and 2024! 🤣
  15. It already started to increase before 2020. I'm not particularly blaming Trump for it, I was just followed your own logic, as my post clearly stated. 😀
  16. Following your logic, as you can see on the graph, it increased under Trump and started to decline under Biden in 2022, 2023 and 2024, at an accelerating decrease rate! 😂
  17. Apparently, he's worse than his father!
  18. There are at least a few good news, and it is one of them. Why has violent crime rates declined over several years in large cities? What’s behind the ‘historic collapse’ in homicide and violent crime rates in major US cities https://www.cnn.com/2026/03/08/us/crime-homicide-rate-decline-us-cities?cid=android_app
  19. Suure, it's the translator's fault when Trump tells BS! 😂
  20. I never claimed that and it's irrelevant to the comment I made.
  21. Well, it still represents the equivalent of four months of US oil imports.
  22. With UN mandate.
  23. The control of large reserves has little to do with oil prices, as wholesale prices are global. It works both ways. Now oil prices are increasing everywhere because of the war against Iran, and during more than one year before that, they have been decreasing because SA and OPEC decided to increase their production. it's the law of supply and demand. Having said that. There should be a delay of around 2 to 4 weeks before changes in wholesale prices affect retail prices, so oil companies are obviously "anticipating"... 😀
  24. Republicans have often been good at that! Remember the G.W. Bush administration. Iraq's fake WDM and alleged support of Islamic terrorism. They even proposed relatives of the 9/11 victims to put the victim's names on missiles to be used in Iraq.
