  1. Actually you're going to see a lot more of ' Vietnam surpasses Thailand " in many areas as it concentrates on its educational and manufacturing development compared to Thailand.
  2. Fibs. I bet you can do no more than 3 strokes before having to stop and turn back. And with the pool too... 😜
  3. Only yuppies (whatever that relates to these days) drink proper coffee? Instant is just a powdered drink that has a vague passing resemblance to a decent coffee made from freshly roasted beans which are appropriately ground just before going into a coffee maker. It tastes totally different. The importance in this order is the beans, then the grinder (not a general bladed food mixer type contraption) and finally the coffee machine...
  4. Firstly, how do you ask the dead...? Ouija board? Secondly what is their technical knowledge and thirdly my post was in response to someone who said they were doing that in a pickup , not a Heavy vehicle like this bus.
  5. A commercial pilot friend said to me when I asked isn't a twin engine small aircraft safer when there's an engine failure? " When one engine fails the remaining engine takes you to the crash site..."
  6. Is it a bring a bottle affair or just a brag ? [yes I'm jealous] I bring my colostomy bag...
  7. How does using gearbox and clutch reduce damage to those items? Not using them unnecessarily is what preserves them
  8. Which itself can get too warm to cool off in , especially with the lower volume of water they hold compared to say the 25 metre hotel pool I use.
  9. I've hung black shrouds over my Sage coffee grinder and De Longhi coffee maker in mourning. "Coffee ” indeed - sludge! 😡
  10. A pointless and wasteful exercise in a modern small vehicle. Use the function designed for slowing down a small passenger vehicle. Brakes are cheaper to replace than transmissions, clutches and engines. Do you still look for the starting handle too ?
  11. You should try Dalston in London where you're considered overdressed if having more than one ear!
  12. You've convinced me - I've booked my ticket. 2 weeks in Patong and no need to pay for going to any muay Thai fights! 😁
  13. Religion and Islam in particular is full of it anyway. And .. "Hamsters, guinea pigs, chinchillas, hedgehogs, and pigs eat their own droppings, which are thought to be a source of vitamins B and K, produced by gut bacteria." Are you suggesting it may be harmful to the consumer to eat pork. What is the rationale..?
  14. zzzzzzzz…here we go again, more repetition of all the Groundhog Day comments. 🥱
  15. I did try my doctors surgery, parents evening at my kids school and at the driving test centre but none had quite the ambience of a Pattaya bar with scowling customers asking " Did you spill my pint - are you looking at my bird?" . But each to their own if you prefer the former venues…
  16. No but I think Snowballing is gathering momentum...
  17. Everyone knows there's no effective policing,so why just boringly repeat it for the umpteenth time? ASEAN members not capable of extending the conversation to posit WHY? Hence my point about the Groundhog Day aspect of any threads involving traffic accidents.
  18. red my post - "members of forums like ASEAN NOW dive in with their own well-meaning but hopelessly anecdotal takes—"It’s all about helmets!" or "Ban alcohol for a week!"— and in your case "How about the most basic of all rules, speed limits" - as if a single-issue fix could somehow resolve a deeply rooted and complex problem. It becomes a chorus of misinformed hot takes, each more simplistic than the last, revealing a widespread lack of understanding about what actually works in road safety policy and practice." - your comment just shows you have very little understanding of the issues and trying to make a false dichotomy out my comments shows youy have no realargument. Kwilko, I'm afraid you're addressing the most simplistic soles here with no grasp of an holistic understanding of an endemic, complex issue. Whenever there's an article about road casualties, the comments are like a version of Groundhog Day with the same mindless , endlessly regurgitated 💩 every time.
  19. In fact an awful lot of people- it’s why companies pay them considerable sums to promote their products and the best earn handsomely from it . Tate brothers…? it’s simply the modern method of advertising…
  20. Cry me a RIVER. Are they "streaming "this incident. As far as I’m concerned it’s all just water under the (biffins) bridge. No point swimming against the tide - go with the flow… Children discover the early stage in the process which ended up with their conception and eventual appearance on the scene….
