Thailand moves further up the ‘Best Countries Heritage’ top 10 rankings

Couldn't possibly have anything to do with the split tail action now, could it? -
Didn't these guys get the memo? The Buddha is for lucky lottery numbers only!

Who knows? They might be making progress in developing their IT sector. Perhaps they've finally upgraded all their computers to Windows 97? ????

Trouble is, Elite Visa holders have to jump through the same ridiculous 90 Day Reporting/TM30 hoops as everyone else. "Rich" people generally don't like being treated like criminal suspects and being forced to wear a (figurative) ankle bracelet at all times. Further, to compound matters, there are few paths to permanent residence and/or citizenship for retirees/property owners - wealthy or otherwise.

Speedy passage of law against torture and enforced disappearance urged

Just another dog and pony show to create an appearance of accountability. Meanwhile, as always, laws are worthless when they're rarely (if ever) enforced. -

Prepare for a spike, public health expert says, but don’t panic
fusion58 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
1. Your definition of what constitutes a “long term” study seems totally arbitrary. 2. The safety of the Pfizer vaccine has already been sufficiently established, as evidenced by the FDA’s granting of full approval for its use. As for me, I will take the advice of the scientists and ID docs over the plethora of Internet “researchers” any day of the week. -

This. These guys really ought to be more consistent. Also, the argument that the vaccines are "untested" is a crock of <deleted>. The pseudoscience these people are touting probably comes from the same "experts" who get paid to deny anthropogenic climate change. -
Prepare for a spike, public health expert says, but don’t panic

Ah, there's the rub: Vaccine refuseniks/anti-maskers and your "only my individual rights matter - screw the common good" people are usually one and the same. -

Actually, the more the vaccine refuseniks dig in their heels, the more opportunities the virus has to mutate, and, eventually, it can mutate to the point where it's resistant to any vaccine. Had these tin foil hat-wearing idiots been around in the 1950s, then developed countries like the U.S. would still be fighting polio today.- 145 replies

Just business as usual for your typical banana republic. The only difference today is that people carry cameras in their pockets.

Chinese-made vaccines not effective against Delta variant after one dose
fusion58 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
The Sinovac Company and/or its shareholders are probably looking for a way to sue the Thai Enquirer for defamation as we speak. ????
