3 weeks ago I lifted something heavy and then later noticed a hernia on one side of my groin. I visited a private hospital who said hernia laparoscopic surgery is the gold standard. It uses the mesh. Package price advertised 200k baht. Hospital later called me to say the dr 'estimated' the price to be just shy of 300k. I am an ex govt teacher and paying the 400 thb a month giving me entitlement to the local public hospital. I havent visited there yet. Wondering if they use the mesh method or not and is it the old open surgery where I will have a big scar to look at down there for the rest of my life? I once had a colonoscopy done at a public hospital. Complete nightmare. They made me stay for 2 days. As soon as I arrived they put a drip in my arm. I was thinking what am I in for here. But it was cheap but 3rd world experience.... In private hospital is a standard day procedure. If you have ever had hernia surgery at a public hospital can you let me know your experience.

I dont understand your comment re Social sec cost. Its 2.5% for 1 employee and employer pay the other 2.5%. Thats the way we do it. Can charge it at the lowest level of 10k salary a month or maybe lower if you want. Have to check with your SS office.

I was on a toll road in Bkk and stopped to use the facilities. I noticed there was an EasyPass office there so I popped in to register What a waste of time. I had help from an officer in there. Signing forms, paid money to register. Then downloaded the MFlow thai app. He didnt change the language to English so we struggled through using thai language. At the end near the validation page there was an error of course. It said I had to call the hotline. The officer wanted me to go and call them. But I knew I had to do it with his help. In the end I gave up. Couldnt find the reason why I could not fully register Can anyone explain what the second app is needed for. Its the 'EXAT portal' app??? Finally, why did I register for EasyPass and then they make me download the Mflow app. Is it the same thing? Its all very confusing TIT. I wasted 1 hour of my time on this today.

Yesterday I noticed the area above my penis below the stomach to be swelling. Might be the lymph node area actually. Just one side is swollen. I think I do need to see a specialist. With swelling in this area do you still think a rheumatologist is the best dr? Its been over a week since I was doing too many bench presses. Last night massive aches in my left shoulder area still from this over exercise. Knee pain in one knee was painful yesterday but ok today. Should I still see the R dr do you think? thanks

Im in my 50s and having a lot of aches and pains. Im doing moderate exercise everyday. Last week maybe I pushed it too hard doing morning and night bench press. First time Ive ever done for a few days and then had massive muscle pain in upper left shoulder. Doing some gardening today I have sore knee. Really painful. 3 weeks ago sore back when bending over to get something from the car Is this just old age sh&t or could I be deficient in some vitamins? I have copper and zinc deficiency and taking supplements specficially for 3 months now. Feel really good apart from my old body pains. Is this all normal? thanks

About a month and a half ago I did 90 day online successfully. I was only granted ext to the expiry date of my marriage visa ext this month. When submitting the docs close to that expiry date I forgot to do 90 day reporting again. Im now 20 days over. My stamp says go back on Tuesday to get the new stamp for the ext of stay based on marriage. So when I go there will they be issuing me with a financial penalty? How much will it be? Actually I wish they had of noticed that my 90 day ext was due when submitting all my marriage docs. thanks
