Interesting, I usually smile but have been doing less so recently due to lack of return.

Seems less females smile back now.  Maybe I just look like an old perv now so they are scared.

No your right , I find the young Thai female doesn't smile back as much now ,I guess it's a different generation so they may think we are old pervs

I wanted to but the standard of living I am comfortable with was to expensive in Bangkok. I looked around and needed about 25-30k for a good condo in center.

I chose Pattaya because I got a nice condo for cheaper, but don’t really like the area I’m in. I also chose Pattaya just because it was an easy move from Bangkok and I was very tired of moving around and wanted stability. I’m getting a little older so being on the road all the time is not as easy.

I should have just rented places monthly and checked out Hua Hin, instead of signing a one year lease. I had good feelings about Hua Hin because there’s less low life stuff and looks like it has more class and quality people. I’m stuck here for the year now because I paid two months deposit I want to get back.

If you moved to the Nirun you would meet interesting people every day and hear their tragic life stories .....after you bought them a bottle !

A lot of disability pensioner I say

He tried that already. Nothing but bars. Try again or not at all. Give some suggestions or there’s not plenty to do. Here’s a hint: he does not want to walk around the mall all day either.

He could go to the Nirun to find out who owns that BMW ?

  4. Has anyone saw the BMW yet abandoned with dust all over it?

If you drive past the swimming pool it's up on the ramp , is something going to be done  about that ?

The place needs cleaning up and if I was going to buy in the Nirun I will be on the building committee

Forget Flybird too, almost just as bad. There's the noise factor to consider too, many of the Thais living in these places work in the entertainment industry, so they're coming home 1am, 2am, 3am talking loud, slamming doors, playing music. I've known a few guys living in both Flybird and Nirun and they only have negative stories to tell. Cops are always milling around too as there are so many dodgy people in both places.

What's it like around there in the early hours of weekend mornings

What's wrong with these poor farangs who are drinking and sitting in the street at 10am with phlegm around their chin coughing up

I'm bored. I think I found the abandoned car on Google maps, no big deal for Thailand

    Screenshot_20230731-130527_Maps.jpg

No it's a BMW parked at the end of the road under the Nirun

Is anyone going to go out to see why it's there please?

It's just past the swimming pool up on the ramp.

Alcohol, gambling etc has got these guys drinking in the street ,I really feel sorry for these guys living there

Can someone do something about the car please !

People were not friendly in these places asking me to buy them alcohol

Agreed, 0% chance this actually happened. If OP needs to pass the time with made up fantasies of being in Pattaya, I am sure there are better ways to make use of his time.

Then walk up to the end of nirun you will see a very dusty abandoned BMW it's in the car park entrance.

You live in the slum, get the lift down to where the pool is ,you will see it if you look left.

You worked hard all your life and you wasted it all !

You wasted your life working for nothing.

Must be on your <deleted> to live there , why didn't you save up instead of living there?

  8. I couldn't get a seat in a few last night in Soi Bukhao/ LK , some were packed with people

Kilkenny had to share a table which I don't like had no choice and that was in the afternoon not night !!!

Had to sit with 2 swearing drunk morons

    Standing room only outside

What's this bar like at night must be packed in like sardines?

Hungry hippo no seats that was 6pm

Some of them are very busy

  9. What is the needle size I need to inject 250 test, I have been paying a clinic  to do it but wish to do myself

Someone ( another farang)  told me before size 16 but I can't find that size ,seems to be all 20's sizes at fascino

  10. Not sure what they call this current Generation that is people between 20 & 28 yo

But do you think they are different than others?

This Gen don't seem to be money hungry as the ones in the 1990's

    Work doesnt seem a priority

Taking selfies in front of gym mirrors and dancing on tiktok seem to be more important

Girls especially seem to be entitled to wanting to become more like men, there's no real ladies anymore

I hear them all the time when I catch public transport screaming and swearing drunk on weekends in the streets

Someone has been reading Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night".

The best thing IMO the OP can do is breathing exercises, plenty of Quigong clips on Youtube. Plus walking, push for a bit more distance each day.

Thanks Lacessit,at last a sensible & intelligent response

  12. Last 2 weeks I know I had covid , no I didnt buy a test to get tested , but as I had covid last year I know I had it.

Anyway fast forward 10 days and I am not tired anymore but still have a cough and the worse body pain and it may sound weird but it's my left butt cheek.

And side of my leg with pins & needles in my right arm.

My butt cheeks is the worse pain .

I'm thinking as soon as I get to Thailand I will go for IV vitamin therapy.

I need tips to post recover

  13. I will go see a doctor next week when I'm in Thailand

But for the last month I had a mate of mine help me with testereone injections 125 weekly into my glute

I have now noticed my nipples become erect ,on searching this it says too much testereone injections make you develop breasts !!

So my question is what medication do I need once I'm in Thailand and how do I know if I need it , obviously if my breasts are erect all the time it's too much testereone??

5 baht a pop, from guy who cleared out the bookshops that closed
he had tonnes he had no space for
i used them for soundproofing a room
but just sold that house, books n all

May I ask how you use books to sound proof a room?

As for the Ops question, try Canterbury Tales, I know they moved though
