So in Pattaya 5 days now. I have compiled statistics of change and change management a fascinating subject which relates to Pattaya in particular the Taxi service Change is a big thing for many including taxi drivers They could charge what they wanted many years ago particularly in high season I also used a Bolt service wonderful thankyou Bolt , they sent a taxi from Jomtien beach to Pattaya 80b a taxi turns up not a normal car but a taxi Pattaya in colors During the trip he complains that 10 years ago he could ask for 300b for the same trip now only he gets less than 80 baht The good times as he described are gone He used to own 4 Pattaya taxis He could get as he said 800 baht to Sanctuary of truth and this was 5 years ago I tipped him and apologised ,thankyou for your service Sir I said and bowed to him Taxi drivers used to earn big money Not anymore with Grab or bolt ! They forced him to either ACCEPT their price or go alone He was angry and justified , BOLT gets down to 60 B from Jomtien to Pattaya for a air conditioning taxi ! Surely they deserve more ,he was making 50,000 baht a month 10 years ago in his taxi he told me ,not now thanks to Bolt and Grab the multi national pests Times change unfortunately Yes he is right , taxis were charging HIGH 10 years ago Tipping because you must there is justified Please don't get me started on the cultural revolution it's not necessary ,Change is a big thing

Obviously the Aussie bar the Billabong is doing something right to attract so many customers Better than that sour faced staff at the other "Aussie " bar in Jomtien beach , Bars are only as good as their staff or / and owner

This is a warning for you guys to check your travel insurance So I got a bit worried lately after a member on here spoke about his heart pains with his frequent testereone injections I noticed also I was getting chest pains too although the right side and middle after testereone injections I had these checked in Australia with Cardiography etc but the doctors claim they can't find anything except something called pericarditis which in his words is trivial the lying thieving Australian doctors say and should go away I made enquiries with a hospital to get a heart check whilst I'm here in Thailand I emailed the travel insurance company to ask for payment Well...they write back after a few days to tell me ,sorry it's pre existing your heart tests because..... anything you went to the doctor about in the last 12 months your NOT covered for !!! Which leaves me covered for nothing !!! In the last year I have been for heart tests ,liver tests ,kidney tests ,body ultrasouns ,chest X rays , bladder tests , prostate tests ,throat scans , colonoscopy etc They found nothing because they are liars !!! I'm a walking time now and yesterday sitting in a cafe in Pattaya I started to get anxiety and felt like a heart pain and then a liver pain and started thinking about the cost of I did have a heart attack or kidney failure or liver failure or my knees give out They write back to tell me I'm covered for anything NOT involving the last 13 months ! Means nothing I will be taking them to court They have blocked my communication because they are thieves and I have emailed them over 50 times to tell them I have asked for my money back Please check your insurance You are NOT covered for heart attack if you have HIGH Blood pressure before taking the insurance unless you got pre existing cover and exemption They accept your $$$ but will refuse if you have a heart attack claiming it was pre existing and was caused by your high blood pressure Hopefully my CT scan calcium scan on Wednesday in BKK will let me know if I need to rush back to Australia for immediate heart surgery . My blood pressure was 135 yesterday

Thankyou ,now you have me worried. I have booked in for a CT calcium scan at Bangkok heart hospital 5000 baht this Wednesday Yes I'm going to stay off the testereone this trip or cut it down to 125ml , it gives me energy but I know it's affecting my heart

It's now better ,I called a telehealth doctor and he prescribed me antibiotics. I had no idea you can now call doctors instead of going to see them personally, apparently started during Covid

Beautiful person unfortunately he was sick and old and had to leave immediately

I was walking through the "indian middle eastern" area last night and very crowded,all going berserk shouting , revving motorbikes up , bumping into you ,no situational awareness

Walked to Soi Bukhao last night. Very busy The Billabong bar was so packed with people you couldn't even get in the door, and there's no door anyway but that's besides the point, and why would I want to anyway I really can't see the point of going into a very crowded bar and stand there ,drinking ,what's the point rubbing shoulders Who said the bars were not doing good ,every bar had customers but some bars were packed out ,billabong ,I rovers etc I could not walk through the streets there without bumping into people and secondly please ban the motorbikes driving through,it's a pedestrian area ,very annoying having bikes bip their horn from behind Walking through those crowds gave me anxiety

So you obviously complained As a matter of interest how many pages was your complaint letter?
