What about the farang elderly in Pattaya who have no one and are forced to live in low rental dumps ? Many are lonely unless they wish to buy permanent company like many of you do handing thousands to a Thai partner to "love " you

Not everyone at 67 is eligible for the old age pension in Australia unlike the UK I live on less than 40,000 baht now living in Australia ,don't most people who own their own homes? Shop at Aldi , electricity $150 month average , water $80 a month,gym $62 a month Internet $85 a month Mobile phone $25 a month Maybe order takeaway every now and again I don't go to pubs clubs bars ,

Well I have been sick the last few days since I got back to Australia Unfortunately cold flu caused by the airline I flew back on and I have lodged a 4 page complaint letter to the CEO , I thought he would of contacted me by now I must say I had a beautiful short stroll in the sunlight this morning in Sydney not too hot ,not too cold and was far relaxed not hearing screaming motorbikes speeding,or having to spin my head continually on a swivel to look for bikes coming up my rear end ! Nor people who are completely oblivious to me on a sidewalk walking into me like they did in Pattaya Some very ignorant people in Pattaya and please don't be racist but some people are completely oblivious and walk right into you

I don't pay rent in Australia But I do pay excessive strata fees, council rates etc But if I was going to rent in Pattaya the Flybird condominium had them from 2,500 a month

True expensive if your renting in Australia but I don't And it would be hard for a pensioner to rent in Australia unless they get government housing .
