The owner of my studio Airbnb met me yesterday and told me he was selling 1,5 million baht I have had to do a study research analysis on what apartment would suit me long term I am calling it apartment/ unit / flat because in Australia if I said the word "Condo" no one would understand and they would think I said condom Anyway my Airbnb that he is selling It's on the ground floor, the balcony facing the big swimming pool So just metres away from your balcony you have people on banana lounges making noise ,so if you open your balcony door on a weekend you will hear their conversation. Not only that , as it's on the ground floor I caught two east European guys leaning over the balcony railing to try to take the plastic table and chair to put near the pool for their group., then drinking loud only metres away from the bedroom window so I don't want ground floor 1.5 million baht is cheap for this apartment 24sqm that he he wants , BUT the negatives,ground floor, close to noisy groups of drunks , swimming pool splashes ..looking now at real estate in Pattaya,it's very difficult to get a Apartment under 2 million baht even studios ,they have risen dramatically I also need to take into consideration transport, close to baht bus routes , grocery shopping , And my age , I still have 20 years left of life if I retire , so rent would be a waste for 20 years

The mobile food carts are a problem because they block the pedestrian access . Those Raptor cars are another problem

I have spent the morning in Soi Bukhao, I did take my work yellow reflective safety vest to wear whilst walking there as it's dangerous for pedestrians .I have been walking around wearing my vest , clipboard and pen taking photos of the unsafe areas where pedestrians are at the mercy of drivers I would love to know the data on how many pedestrian is injured or killed in this area mostly on that main road going towards the markets up to the bar area That stretch is very dangerous with no footpaths and bikes speeding past you It in reality should be one way , I may have to have to write a letter to Pattaya city council again

Now I'm in Pattaya ,I thought I would go for breakfast. I packed my large diary ( which I write in a few times a day all my activities) I packed my notebooks for my statistical research and analysis And I off I went , walking through the Soi Bukhao area of Pattaya I soon found out this " dangerous pedestrian hellhole " required situational awareness from the traffic so I quickly crossed the road to face the incoming traffic which has absolutely nothing to do with my post so please let's get back to it !!! I see a restaurant called Cheap Charlies so I wander over there ,the time now 9am ,using my situational awareness I notice all tables full with ONE old farangs sitting at every FOUR seat table by themselves! The waitress sees me and says come in, she guides me to a table and without asking the old guy sitting at one of the FOUR seat tables by HIMSELF , tells me to sit at his table I look at him , he is unshaven , unkempt and coughing , he looks at me , I said NO to her , I'm not sitting with anyone , she didn't even ASK him , she just pulled the chair says sit here at SAME table She looks around there are NO tables free with only ONE farang at each four seat table , all by themselves HOGGING each four seat table I don't LIKE people so I will not go over to a table and ask "oh honey is it ok for me to sit here ??. Then ..maybe whilst in eating they will talk to me !!.. My question to you is , is this acceptable for you if sit someone sat at your table ! What if it's the other way around and YOU are sitting by yourself at a FOUR seat table and Old stinky Jack cones along and picks your table to sit in the chair opposite would you say F off Jack it's my table !!
