  3. Indeed your right , I had no idea and just cancelled my policy ( as a pillion passenger on Grab I need insurance) Another policy I'm looking at has extra premium money for the motorbike and even to be a pillion passenger you must have a helmet on....and have no alcohol in your system
  4. Yes very good point I have no idea why either They pay 200 baht a day plus fuel , I pay look ess than that for a Grab or baht bus
  5. Unfortunately yes Lane filtering is now allowed which means motorbike can go in between cars at traffic lights If your a Sikh no longer required to wear a helmet Australia is now a third world country that's full of crime You never ever see police patrolling the streets
  6. I just read the insurance policy As he took the insurance out from Australia he was required to have a Australian motorbike licence or international motorcycle licence. He should of been wearing a helmet, and no alcohol or drugs in the system I have no idea why they refused his insurance
  7. Some of these insurance policies do not cover you for certain motorbike engines , He must of been driving a big motorbike He obviously was going berserk , overtaking etc
  8. Go back to the brain surgeon and ask him to take them out and ask for a refund as he didn't find a brain FFS just pay the doctor his 1000 baht fee instead of driving everywhere trying to get $5 off a quote or go to a Government hospital, you can't be that hard up for money
  9. Geez ....your hanging on mate ,don't buy a yearly lottery ticket
  10. Geez I would hate to see the OP do a Real Estate deal... All this for a few stitches, unbelievable!!!
  11. 26 degrees ? It must be hot in there , too hot Mine is 21 degrees
  12. I dislike this word "bro" It's a new Zealand word What happened to the word "mate"?
  13. It's 32 degrees in Australia today. I have for weeks tried not to use the air conditioning to acclimatise to my trip going to Thailand where I hate to use the air con But it seems in this rubbish country of Australia it's a burning dry type of heat rather than the wet moist heat of Thailand. It's not only financial reasons not to put the air conditioning on but health reasons too It's plays havoc with my eyes , my conjunctivitis, my skin , everything .Do you use the air conditioning in Thailand, did you stop? Can you sleep without it ? .you see it's like a drug ,the more you use it ,the less your body can cope without it
  14. Oh please spare us your wisdom on the cruelty to animals

Are you that hard up and broke to go and get a quote to remove stitches ... .geez , that's the funniest thing I have heard , you poor man living on the breadline with your pension it sounds like , all you need to do is get a few stitches removed..... not buying a apartment!!!!
  18. I don't think he was the "original" owner starter of Chern Chim though , he may have bought it from the owner because I remember the guy running it was married and very strict in his business
  19. I hope this man can receive counselling for PTSD Those that think it's a joke should be ashamed of themselves I too have been a victim and I'm still recovering!!!!! Since the incident my work colleagues have noticed me with a "hot and cold" personality, they have told me one day im ok and the next grumpy For those who don't know I was slapped repeatedly on the back of the head in Lopburi in March 2025

I haven't been up there in years must be at least 15 years I must ask or feel rather compelled to ask the latest updates I remember going to a farang shop/ cafe / deli run by a British farang which had a British tv show theme , I think it was named after a grocery shop ....is that still there ?? Then there was a hotel bed breakfast resort run by a British guy who used to advertise on those isaan forums and was a gym fanatic had a funny name the hotel Is that girlie night bar street still there ? And what about that green Irish pub , had a Irish name , I think the guy was trying to sell it , oh I'm going back 15 years ago I went in there and had a meal, bangers n mash I guess Udon Thani is no longer the friendly place where all expats knew each other
