You will obviously be classified as a tourist. You can stay as long as you can convince immigration that you are a tourist and not a resident. Visa Excempt is unlimited by air on paper but I think 4 flights is the limit before immigration get awkward. Multi entry Tourist Visa is the way to go, If you have all the necessary uploads, apply via a VPN, if issued, leave to an adjacent country and use that.

Did one last month, Non O Multi, the one which requires leaving Thailand every 90 days. Required to show 800,000 baht but can be in UK bank. It's there, scroll down a little hard to find.

I'm at Heathrow and checked in with Malaysian Airlines, my return ticket is in April. Lady asked for onward travel within 90 days. After a heated discussion she got the manager who sang the same song so had to buy a disposable ticket. This ticket was for 2nd Feb but the company showed it 2/5/2024...more problems until the eticket was emailed to me. I am now in departures.
