Southeast Asia isn't going to reject EV imports from China given its political regional domination. With Tesla being manufactured in China for export, Thailand just isn't important for its manufacturing. But it seems Musk likes to "egg" on country leaders to get one of his EV plants.

Why is Thailand not full of so called Asylum Seekers?
Srikcir replied to bob smith's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Start with this: "Thailand is not a party to the 1951 Refugee Convention and has no specific domestic legal framework for protection of urban refugees and asylum-seekers." Continue with this: "the Royal Thai Government does not have an asylum system for the protection of refugees. Anyone without a valid visa is at risk of detention. In Thailand, UNHCR is the only organisation responsible for receiving and processing asylum applications." End with this: Thailand HRC lost its accreditation UNHRC in 2014 in connection with the military coup government rewrite of Thailand's constitution that in part subjects THRC to government censorship. Consequences: stateless or returned to further abuse or death to countries such as China, North Korea and Bangladesh. -

There is no Czar. Latino Alejandro Mayorkas is Secretary of Homeland Security while Harris is VPOTUS. Their authority and responsibility do not coincide. But I can understand that people such as MAGAnites who think in terms of "fascism" and "communism" gravitate towards the slavic term "czar" or the Russian "tsar." -
"Vance went to Iraq as a “combat correspondent,” a job that involved writing brief articles and taking photos for internal Marine Corps publications meant to keep up morale by focusing on the successes of the war effort. At the Al Asad air base in Iraq’s desolate western desert, he and other members of the public-affairs unit lived in spartan trailers lined up in rows. Nearby were bombed-out bunkers that had housed Iraqi jet fighters before the U.S. occupied the remote outpost. Shortly after they arrived, militants rocketed the heavily fortified base but attacks during the deployment were rare, Marines who served with Vance said." Vance in fact stated that “I was lucky to escape any real fighting.” Randall Rogers, former retired army officer - Quora

Regardless of action on MFP, the Thai HRC continues since the 2014 military coup to lose its UN accreditation due to crippling the THRC from government independence. Fundamental laws and government oversight put into place by the 2014 junta and Prayut government must be changed to the extent that the THRC can freely report on Thailand human rights behavior without recrimination and censorship by the government. Disbanding the MFP would just add "insult to injury" to the THRC ability to function. Not disbanding MFP will have no positive affect regarding THRC reaccrediation.

Kremlin Gets what it wants Calculated Hostage Strategy

Trump is upset with Biden's successful hostage negotiations. Trump has said as a campaign issue only he (Trump) can work with Putin for a hostage resolution, yet Biden carried the day. And that success will carryover to the Harris POTUS campaign. Note that 'negotiations' is a "Give and "Take" process. And I don't mean "I Take and You Give." And as seems tradition with MAGA, when you lose you have to justify with falsehoods and conspiracies. -
But for now Trump doesn't want a speedy trial. And with the SCOTUS pro-Trump majority not making any real effort to define what specific presidential duties constitute immunity as it relates to overthrowing the government, doesn't want to interfere with Trump's POTUS campaign. Thus, by pushing a nonsensible ruling back to the Lower Court, SCOTUS sets up appeal delays that will go into 2025.

In a short time span. Overall since the May 2014 military coup the baht has yet to recover. Thailand is still in a military coup recession.
