I'm 71 1/2 searching for insurance. I have talked to a couple of agents...comparenow.com and Pacific Prime. So sad that in our last years we get shafted. Yes, I know someone has to pay. Reading this from above: " At age 72 my premium is 130k baht and it insures only half of my body. The worst part is the deductible is 340k, on top of that is a co-pay for the next 160k. There are no good options for anyone over 70,"Is quiet disheartening. I will just go without insurance and when the pain is too much. I told my Thai stepdaugher to let me die..help me go if she can. My last online 90 day report was accepted but this time I am having trouble. I did leave the country and returned in July. I counted 90 days from the day I returned. That would be Oct 14th. I did the online report, same as last time, On Thursday. Today is Friday and it hasn't been accepted. Still pending. Last time the approval came back the next day. Anyone have an idea on how long it is taking now?

Probably a faulty plug. Also the ground might not be complete...Check for power from hot to ground. should have. Neutral to ground....no no. A static shock is a lot different than a current, or voltage shock., I know from experience...

Monday 6:06 Thai time and can't send. Will try again on the hour, but I expect it won't be until 9am or later. That means no transfer will be completed today, Monday. I always send to fund long stay.., so funds arrive at 2pm...or a bit after. Stinks.

I tried to start a transfer this morning. Same way I have for years, but something kooky today. when I entered the amount I want to transfer from my borderless account (or whatever it's called now) I box with red letters comes up and says they can't transfer more than 28,000 USD now. Ok....but my transfer is way less than that!! Maybe just wait until later...won't arrive until Monday pm anyway. Anyone run into this block besides me??

Back when I was teaching English in NE... I think it was a school in Ban Phai. I had one 17 year old girl student that like to practice her English with me. I thought it was good fun until the last week of school. Just before she would of turned 18.,,she invited me to her home.....to meet her parents. I told her I didn't have time as I needed to prepare for moving the day the school closed. She looked at me with big sad eyes and told me we couldn't get married unless I met her folks. I was out of town 15 minutes after checking out at the school.

I read somewhere...probably on this forum..When I exit Thailand to kill off my Non OA, that I can come back in VOA, and then I can transfer the 800,K to my BKK bank account before going to IM. To convert the visa on arrival to a Non O. The funds will show in my BKK bank account as being from abroad...but not 2 months before.... Only a week or two. Seems logical to me....but hey..Thai IM....logic???
