When using the income letter method Immigration have been known to request proof that money is coming into Thailand to support yourself... a bank statement showing a history of international wire transfers in would be useful to have in that situation...

Take the leftover Somtam juice and spread it around the outside perimeter of house...

I've had this one for a few months and it works great...
It has has a nice english smartphone app that allow easy setting of things... you can view everything on the app...
Before I had a cheapy one and after a few week I took out the micro sim and went to view the clips on my computer and found that ALL of the clips on the sim were unreadable and corrupted!... so anyone who has a cam might make sure that it is actually making usable recordings...
Other things to consider are the view angle which seems to vary from 130-180 degrees... I would not recommend one that is on the low(130 side...
also so look at the image quality... below HD quality and the videos are not really that good...

One thing to watch out for is the background color... review the regulation if any for a French passport....

Hey Jak, there's always the DIY forum too. Surprised you-know-who didn't move it there.
From the OP original post it didn't sound like he wanted to do much himself...

I hope the Government realises the pigeons, will just fly back to where they were collected from,
so it will be catch and release, catch and release....................unless they are killing them somewhere.

My guess they are not the catch & release types...
I would be wary of cheap Gai Yang...

We just went to Pai a couple weeks ago (we drive our car) and the road was excellent the whole way... Recently repaved... If you are familiar with driving a motor scooter, drive defensively with care and drive slowly a motorbike will be fine and is a great experience...
A great place to rent a bike is the place just across the street from Kad Suan Kaew... The guy who owns it works there behind the counter and is very nice and helpful... He accepts 3,000 baht as a deposit with no passport... Make sure you all wear helmets as you will most likely go thru a couple police stops in the city and on the highway up
With your motor scooter a great day trip from Pai is to Tham Lot Cave!

And if you drove the bike for any distance flat you most likely damaged the outer tire and it will need to be replaced...

Couldn't you get a residency certificate from the British Consulate?

Do you already have a VPN plan?... if so what router do they recommend/support?...
If you haven't bought a VPN plan I would shop around the providers website to see which provider has a good support page that shows in detail how their vpn is setup and which router they used...
here re is just an example...
https://windscribe.com/guides/ddwrt
also many vpn providers sell preconfigured routers but are overpriced...
What are these orange machines for?

These machines are useful to increase your prepaid cellphone validity...
it allows you to top up 10 baht plus 2 baht fee which adds a month of validity to your phone - With True you can do this 12 times to give you a year of vilidity... useful if you plan on leaving the country for extended periods and want to retain your SIM card and phone number...
