  1. "I think I can recognise propaganda, wherever I see it." If you believe your statement above wrt to Al Jazeera then you are sadly misguided in your beliefs and rational thinking (if any!)! PS; If you only watch one news' source how do you know it is balanced or trustful or not state controlled etc?
  2. I owned an MGBGT for 32 years in the UK and sold it for more than I paid for it. It was remarkably reliable and well maintained by a local sports car garage!

  5. Those who entered with a non-OA visa and got a retirement extension based on that visa need health insurance. If you extend a non O-visa insurance is not required, just the money in the bank/monthly income and usual phots, rent etc documents!
  6. Yes I agree it seems to have made it more titillating!
  7. What retirement extension needs health insurance, mine doesn't?
  8. 55 years ago you would have visited a UK built Oberon class submarine; The first Australian Oberon class submarine, HMAS Oxley, was commissioned on 21 March 1967. She was followed by her sister ships; Otway (1968), Ovens (1969), Onslow (1969), Orion (1977), and Otama (1978). Orion and Otama were more capable than the previous four boats, as they were fitted with advanced communications monitoring equipment.[12] All of the Oberon class submarines were based at HMAS Platypus, on Sydney Harbor. The Oberons proved very successful and saw extensive service during the last decades of the Cold War.
  9. Did you try looking without your sunglasses on or were you either too far away or looking in the wrong direction? Why do people make it out to be worse than it actually is here in the old city?
  10. Here is a puff or two of breath(s) of fresh air for you all given the pollution we are suffering: What do you call it when Oxygen and Nitrogen train at the gym together? Air conditioning: I asked my wife if she would get "Nitrogen" or "Dioxide" tattooed on her backside. She said NO2 both: I was in class one day and my my teacher asked me a question Teacher: can you give me the chemical formula for nitrogen monoxide? Me: NO
  11. Would that unkindest cut of all make it into a sapling, a twig or just a nutlet?

  13. It seems like he has successfully washed his hands of that chore!
  14. And no plastic straw(s)! PS; I'm on an environmentally stable diet!
  15. Don't you read replies/questions or do you just ignore them to suit your own agenda? I ask again; (not expecting a coherent reply!); Why are you suggesting the more expensive (illegal) agent retirement option?
  16. Try going to the web site and look around it! (hint read my post where I said to "Don't worry that is says "retirement visa" in the link, they do all types of expat (legit) services!) 17. Oops! You are correct to be confused by my confusion! I am indeed responding to the wrong poster. I should have addresed my remarks re Credit cards to "@KannikaP" who may wish to respond! Sorry!
  18. And the connection to credit card payments to pay for "cash transfers" via wise is what? I am even more confused!
  19. That link makes your posts even more confusing wrt credit card payments!
  20. Using a credit card to pay for a cash transfer is liable to be classed as a cash transaction and incur higher interest rates on some credit card providers and frowned upon by credit rating agencies. Also what has the payment method got to do with the topic!
