"Due to bilateral visa waiver agreements with Thailand, nationals of the following countries and territories holding normal passports can enter Thailand without a visa for up to the duration listed below.[1][2] They may enter via any port of entry " Russia most certainly is on the list of those that can use land/sea borders as often as they like.

He needs to speak to the labour department, not immigration, he is on a marriage extension, so is allowed to work once he has a work permit, which is down to the Labour department, not immigration. -
Non-B for investment of condo
bigt3116 replied to Keninbkk's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
You need to have brought the 10M into the country and then YOU needed to spend over 10M on the condo, as is, even though you may have paid the full amount, your actual ownership is only 50% -
Non-B for investment of condo
bigt3116 replied to Keninbkk's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Buy a Condominium You can invest a minimum of 10 million Baht into a condo in Thailand. Keep in mind that your eligibility for an Investment Visa depends solely on the purchase price of the condo. Thus, if you purchase a condo for 11 million Baht but the property is declared to be worth 9 million Baht by the Department of Land, you will not be eligible for an Investment Visa. For this reason, you are advised to verify the condo's value directly with the Department of Land and keep the transfer tax receipt. This will serve as proof to the immigration office that the condo was valued above 10 million Baht at the time of purchase before its price dropped. If you cannot present a transfer tax receipt and the condominium is valued lower than 10 million Baht, you will not be able to obtain an Investment Visa. Furthermore, only the purchase of condos that the Thai government has approved will qualify you for an Investment Visa. Therefore, to obtain this visa, you must buy a new condo from a developer and own it for a minimum of three years. -
Multiple Entry Tourist Visa
bigt3116 replied to Highlander61's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
You got your answer on April 30, when you asked the same question. This was one of the replies to your question. " I'm in Thailand on my second METV issued from the London Thai Embassy On both applications they wanted to see the full itinerary for the first part of the trip (first flight in and flight out within 60 days). My flights are always on single tickets and I would upload only the first flight ticket into the website application. Both times they sent an email asking for extra documents - full itinerary 2 tickets. ( I also sent a note saying I did not know the itinerary after the first flights as I would be travelling around, This explanation was accepted) And heres the actual email they sent, copy and pasted. Dear Applicant, Visa application on hold. Please email the following document(s) to [email protected], quoting your passport number on the email subject title. Travel booking confirmation - Flight booking confirmation shows your all itineraries from the UK/Ireland to Thailand and the onward flight also shows your name as a passenger (E-ticket). *Please note this is an auto generated e-mail. Please do NOT reply to this email. Best wishes, E-Visa Team" -

Retirement extension Bangkok using income

YOU provide the paperwork for either extension, the IO just checks it. Actually the marriage is slightly less work really, as the account balance is far easier to check. -

Maybe ask your Global Moderator - Tod Daniels, he and another site's moderator, both said the same. ???? -
Is it OK to overstay by 2 days?
bigt3116 replied to organicman's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Sorry but that is incorrect, the 7-days denied extension begins the day you apply NOT after the expiration of your current permission to stay. -
Has the TM30 been scrapped?

How would you know? -
Maybe move to a country whose language and calendar you approve of, instead of demeaning the system used in the country YOU chose to live in.
