  1. Incorrect, you can not do your 90 day report at "any" office
  2. Without an SETV you may well be refused bording on your flight So if you are going to enter exempt and then fly out in the middle, that needs booking before you leave.
  3. Sorry but they are not synonymous, as explained in my post, with the reasons why. That is also why a person's nationality is important when giving advice.
  4. Really? I have only ever heard of them correcting spelling etc or replacing lost visas, never issuing them
  5. That would be very strange, as the first long term extension should marry with the reason for issuance of the initial visa, in your case employment.
  6. Actually they are different beasts, visa waiver means there is a bilateral agreement, whereas visa exempt has no such agreement Also visa waiver is either 14, 30 or 90 days depending on nationality
  7. This makes no sense? "attempts to revive him were unsuccessful", doesn't that mean he had died? So why was he transferred twice? Very strange.
  8. I just bought a new bike and the shop only took a copy of my passport a simple look at the plate would have told you where it was registered
  9. If you are really on a multi-entry Non-B VISA then you could do a border bounce on the day before its expiry, (use before date), and be stamped back in for another 90 days, totally valid even though your work permit would have expired.
  10. Show me where that is written, then I will become as knowledgable as you ???? The application form quite clearly states "Evidence of foreign currency fund transferred to Thailand", it makes no mention of how long it might have sat in a Thai bank account. I just post the facts as written by Thai Immigration themselves Actually it was conceded that some offices will accept that, so hush a little, you have not corrected me ????
  11. Recieving the state pension in Germany only proves your age, not whether you are employed or not. "Pensioners can earn additional income in addition to their pension without an upper limit." https://www.bmas.de/EN/Social-Affairs/Old-age-security-in-Germany/old-age-security-in-germany-art.html#:~:text=Postponing the retirement age will, pension without an upper limit.
  12. Wrong Check out Para 5.3 https://www.immigration.go.th/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/9.FOR-RETIREMENT-PURPOSES-50-YEARS-OLD-NON-O.pdf
  13. Maybe the branch of Bangkok Bank in London would be able to help? https://www.bangkokbank.com/en/International-Banking/Europe-and-North-America/United-Kingdom-Business-Banking
  14. It does not mention entering the country, only that you need non-immigrant status
  15. That is not a requirement, if they accept joint accounts (and many do), then the balance needs to be double
  16. and that non-b would be your non-immigrant visa
  17. These are your best 2 options, sorted for over a year, and as you want to travel, they fit the bill perfectly
  18. Or a joint account with double the amount
  19. That lift looks way too small for 16 people
  20. a hypothetical question about having 18 months left on his passport, so hypothetical or not, your answer was at best misleading and at worst wrong.
