RFK Jrs. own words (at the dinner table): "...that's what all those labs in Ukraine are about, they're collecting Russian DNA, they're collecting Chinese DNA, so we can target people by race". https://nypost.com/2023/07/15/rfk-jr-says-covid-was-ethnically-targeted-to-spare-jews/ From TASS Russian News Agency Robert Kennedy Jr. Acknowledges US has biolabs in Ukraine NEW YORK, June 6. /TASS/. US presidential hopeful Robert Kennedy Jr. has acknowledged that the US has biolabs in Ukraine. In a conversation with US businessman Elon Musk that was webcast on Twitter, Kennedy Jr. said US laboratories are located all around the world, including Ukraine, and are developing all kinds of biological weapons. https://tass.com/society/1628133

Bangkok ramps up storm preparedness ahead of Talim’s arrival
bamnutsak replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
Preparing is a good idea. Especially starting the pumps again after months of not being used. That said, tropical storm Talim has tracked NNW and is far far far away from Thailand. https://zoom.earth/storms/talim-2023/ Yes, there will be more tropical storms and rain. -
Russian disinformation. Picked up and pushed by QAnon, and you, of course. How the false Russian biolab story came to circulate among the U.S. far right It was a lurid and difficult to believe claim: that Ukraine was developing biological weapons with the assistance of the U.S. government. In fact, U.S. assistance to Ukrainian biological labs has been targeted at strengthening public health measures. Both the U.S. and Ukraine have also signed a treaty vowing never to produce or use biological weapons. But unlike most Russian efforts to spread false narratives justifying its invasion of Ukraine, this one found a receptive audience in the United States among far-right social media channels, Fox News and followers of the QAnon conspiracy theory. https://www.npr.org/2022/03/25/1087910880/biological-weapons-far-right-russia-ukraine

We need playing cards to keep track of the Hunter Biden IRS investigation "Whistleblowers". I think there's: 1.) Gary Shapley 2.) an unnamed IRS special agent Are there others? “This is the A-team with the IRS. These two guys have stellar records,” House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) said Tuesday. The hearing could also help Republicans distract from Trump’s numerous legal problems after the former president said Tuesday that he expected an imminent indictment in relation to the Justice Department’s probe into the Jan. 6 Capitol attack. https://thehill.com/homenews/house/4104379-gop-to-put-irs-hunter-biden-whistleblowers-at-center-stage/ I love it when a plan comes together.

From the article... Sandee launched his tirade on his IG account in English from abroad. Some of his criticisms included: The Move Forward party will never succeed in amending Section 272 of the Constitution, the lèse majesté law or in getting its leader, Pita Limjaroenrat, elected as prime minister. The Move Forward party did not win a landslide in the May 14th general election. The Senate and the people in general don’t care about the party’s protests or complaints. Farmers want policies that earn them increased revenues, not gender ideology or “woke performative bull***t. To sum up, “nobody wants you in charge, only bratty teenagers and disobedient children.” “Your party is only two years old. What have you done in the last five years? Lawsuit after lawsuit. Your top three executives are banned for a decade, and Pita may end up with similar fate.” He attends/ed University of Washington, maybe he graduated and will be attending grad school? It's weird that he used the word "woke", which no one in the U.S. can define. Not sure if it resonates with Thais? He has a physical disability (hearing impaired) which limits his ability to express himself. So he probably just blew his top and went on a childish rant. He's from the aristocracy so he'll get a pass and heaps of praise for apologizing.

Lawyer Not Afraid Of Senators Suing Him For Defamation

Yes, a legacy of Thai feudalism, Sakdina and The Law of the Three Seals, all integral to the Thai Social Contract. That is why one's position on the Thai social pyramid is so important. -
Abstract: The susceptibility of different populations to SARS-CoV-2 infection is not yet understood. Abstract: Yet, COVID-19 is strangely and tragically selective. Morbidity and mortality due to COVID19 rise dramatically with age and co-existing health conditions, including cancer and cardiovascular diseases. Human genetic factors may contribute to the extremely high transmissibility of SARS-CoV-2 and to the relentlessly progressive disease observed in a small but significant proportion of infected individuals, but these factors are largely unknown. I only looked at these two "papers". Posting a compendium of papers is about as useful as RFK Jr's rantings. If you want to provide some analysis we'd welcome that. Mortality-related risk factors of COVID-19: a systematic review and meta-analysis of 42 studies and 423,117 patients https://bmcinfectdis.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s12879-021-06536-3 Conclusion Chronic comorbidities, complications, and demographic variables including acute kidney injury, COPD, diabetes, hypertension, CVD, cancer, increased D-dimer, male gender, older age, current smoker, and obesity are clinical risk factors for a fatal outcome associated with coronavirus.

FM Don has been super busy during the last few weeks in his care-taker role. Meetings with China, Russia, Myanmar (2x + allegedly meeting with ASSK). I can't figure out if he's cleaning up commitments the Prayut regime made? Or making new ones which will hobble the next government.

Thai organisations challenge Senate’s prime ministerial authority
bamnutsak replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I think quite a few folks recognized this "feature" which Meechai and other crafters added, was meant to keep control. And quite a few pointed out the inherent un-democratic nature of this unelected, appointed (by the NCPO), body. Now we get to see how poor a choice this was. Non-elected Senate a reliable buffer: Meechai A NON-ELECTED Senate, as set out in the draft constitution, could be relied upon because its members would have no connection with political parties, chief charter writer Meechai Ruchupan said Tuesday. “Elected MPs can also be trusted, but sometimes they have to act in accordance with the directions of their party, which might have a particular ambition. This leads to things going wrong,” he said at a press conference on the charter draft’s completion and submission to the Cabinet Tuesday. https://www.nationthailand.com/in-focus/30282821- 30 replies

Lawyer Not Afraid Of Senators Suing Him For Defamation
bamnutsak replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
The aristocracy is so thinned skin here. They can't stomach any criticism, and must use laws prevent those below them from criticizing them. -
He has bigger enemies than himself. The biggest. And I think he will be subject to criminal charges, 112/116, along with scrutiny on land deals/holdings. Criticism of the Institution must be nipped in the bud, and an example must be made to discourage future criticisms. But I do agree that he should have had two separate legal/financial reviews of his holdings. Especially given Thanatorn's travails with an in-flight magazine. I think he thought, assuming he was aware of all the details of his late father's holdings, that iTV shares were worthless paper. Most people would think that too. But the CC can rule however they want, and they'll rule he violated 98.3 FWIW he was, however briefly, an MP in 2019/2020, until Future Forward was run out of town. I'd like to see all MPs and Senators subject to a similar financial forensic review.

Of course they weren't going to say anything, given their rank, status and privilege. But only when called out by the public do they choose to respond. If Senators cannot fulfill their sworn duty to the Senate then they should resign.

I'd say Pita is done. He'll be lucky to dodge a 112 or 116 charge. 82 (part) Upon receipt of the matter for consideration, if it appears that there are reasonable grounds to suspect that the case of the member against whom the complaint is lodged is founded, the Constitutional Court shall order such member to cease the performance of his or her duties until the Constitutional Court makes a decision. When the Constitutional Court has made a decision, it shall notify the President of the House to which the complaint is lodged under paragraph one of such decision. In the case where the Constitutional Court decides that the membership of the member against whom a complaint has been lodged is terminated, such person shall vacate office as from the date of cessation of the performance of duties, but this shall not affect any act done by such person prior to the vacation of his or her office. 98.3 being the owner of, or a shareholder in any newspaper or mass media business; 101.6 being under any prohibition under section 98; 98.3 seems pretty "flexible", so the CC will probably say that the glove fits.

Trump blames Chris Christie for ‘mistake’ of nominating FBI director.
bamnutsak replied to Social Media's topic in World News
"Only the best people". ...unless Chris Christie recommends them? Wray was nominated by trump and confirmed by the Senate 92-5. Trump always seems to have someone else to blame. -
Interesting how the slightest criticism of the upper crust here sets them off. It is probably the first time they have ever encountered resistance or criticism in their entire lives. Of course the reaction is a call for legal action when it would be far simpler to simply state why you voted, or didn't, the way you did. And why you chose to ignore the will of the people. Just be honest. You think you know what's best for ~ 70% of the voters.

Yes, of course you can say anything you want (within forum rules), and we are free to criticize what you said. If you say something which is racist or antisemitic than we are left to conclude that you may be a racist or an antisemite. Who, exactly took away RFK Jr's freedom of speech? You're confusing criticism with censorship. A common symptom of Conservative Aggrievement Disorder.

You can only oppress a population for so long. Eventually they'll realize that those in power will never, ever give it up. They will never play by the rules. So they will have to stand up and take power for themselves. That process may not be as respectful as everyone wants. The old guard will not go silently.

He had me until he mentioned that the U.S. bio-labs are in the Ukraine. Huh? Video can be viewed here: https://nypost.com/2023/07/15/rfk-jr-says-covid-was-ethnically-targeted-to-spare-jews/ Honestly this chap is loopy AF. His family should intervene before he says something even more epically stoopid.
