THC Gummies in Chiang Mai (or online)
bamnutsak replied to connda's topic in Thailand Cannabis Forum
Last count I saw there were 400-ish cannabis shops in/around Chiang Mai. I think you're going to have to do your own research, for shops first, then those with gummies. Candy Afterdark was mentioned somewhere here recently https://www.facebook.com/happyCandyAfterdark/ https://aseannow.com/topic/1282139-where-to-buy-cbd-or-stronger-gummies-in-chiang-mai/ https://cannabox.co.th/chiang-mai After a few searches: Google, Facebook, Line you'll probably get a decent handle on the supply. top ten cannabis shops in Chaing Mai -
Cannibis Pills/Liquid for Pain Relief
bamnutsak replied to TroubleandGrumpy's topic in Thailand Cannabis Forum
There are some folks here in Thailand making CBD Isolate. And some selling it. I think it is legal. Water soluble. (There are some water-soluble THC vendors here as well). Search CBD Isolate Thailand https://www.thaihempshop.com/products/item/6-cbd-products/14-cbd-isolate#!1_CBD_Oil_Isolate__650_ Full spectrum: Search CBD full spectrum oil thailand I know people don't want to smoke, but maybe try (smoking) some quality CBD-dominant flower once to see if it works. If it does consider a dry-herb vaporizer which while not 100% healthy, greatly limits the bad effects of smoking. I know nothing about anything. You'll have to do your own research on what might work, and what might be available here. -
Bill payments, like your mobile phone, internet, water, and electricity start off with the file-name: "slip" AFAIK, all transactions have JPGs in the SCB Easy sub-folder, and they get saved there automatically. Even communications from other actvitities like activating a card. You can ALSO enable autogeneration of a transaction slip in case you want to share/send it to the recipient right after completing the transaction.
-
QR code payments are in bill payment history. You asked about a Payment. Transfers are in Account Transactions, locate the transfer, click on down arrow for details where you'll see the last 4 digits of the destination account, and that account holder's name (in Thai possibly). Pretty sure every transaction slip is in the root/Pictures/SCB folder. Mine are. Files begin with TXN.....JPG
-
Do you have Auto save slip enabled (Settings, App Settings)? If so, go to Bill Payment, History (far right tab), locate the Payment, click on the down arrow for details, Regenerate Success Slip. or Assuming Android, and a decent File Manager, I use Total Commander, go to root, Pictures Folder, SCB folder, slip JPGs are there.

Is organic farming the solution to Thai school lunch crisis?
bamnutsak replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
The solution to the school lunch crisis is to not allow school administrators (MoE in Bangkok, and provincial/local) to skim/accept kickbacks from the meals budget. -
Difficult situation for the government. They encouraged/facilitated Thais to go to Israel by forming a government-to-government agreement to supply agricultural workers. "Go to Israel." "Come back now." https://telaviv.thaiembassy.org/en/content/119671-the-signing-of-the-agreement-between-the-government-of-the-kingdom-of-thailand-and-the-government-of-the-state-of-israel-regarding-the-recruitment-for-employment-of-thai-workers-for-temporary-work-in-the-agricultural-sector-in-the-state-of-israel?cate=5d7513dd15e39c3598006af6 During the government of Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-o-cha, Thai workers were encouraged to participate in the “Thailand-Israel Cooperation on the Placement of Workers (TIC)” project to work in the agricultural sector. This cooperation has been running for 17 rounds. https://www.khaosodenglish.com/news/2023/10/09/thais-have-been-supported-to-work-in-israel-before-the-attack/ Once in Israel, Thai workers are moved around the country by their employers, with little regard for their safety. and Israeli employers are allowed by law to transfer their workers to other employers, the Thai Ministry of Labor permanent secretary said Sorry, but this sounds suspiciously like other forced labor situations. https://www.nationthailand.com/thailand/general/40031807

The Pheu Thai Party pledged, as part of their campaign platform, to increase the national minimum wage to 600 baht by 2027. Interesting that the PM, for whom not a single citizen cast a vote, now wants to "study" the campaign promise is curious. Can't tell if he's clueless, or just pretending to be.

Inflation rate in Thailand dips for first time in over two years
bamnutsak replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Given that the government is subsidizing, and/or setting price caps, electricity, diesel fuel, and a basket of 51 items (extended through June 2024), it is not surprising that some measures of inflation are level or declining. Thailand cabinet extends control on price of 51 goods and services by another year The list covers essential items for daily use such as food; consumer products; farm products like fertilisers, pesticides; construction materials; paper; petroleum; and medicines. https://asianews.network/thailand-cabinet-extends-control-on-price-of-51-goods-and-services-by-another-year/ Bit of a fight now on sugar pricing fixing... https://thethaiger.com/news/business/sugar-prices-clampdown-thai-government-enforces-caps-amid-production-cost-hike -
Anutin Spearheads National Anti-Mafia Crackdown
bamnutsak replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
In all honesty and reality, the Minister of the Interior remains the most powerful civilian position, much more powerful than the current PM. Anutin basically controls the entire civilian management of the country, save Bangkok (and the RTP). -

I think the Minister of the Interior will grant Provincial extensions based on "input" from "entertainment operators" via the Department Of Provincial Administration (DOPA). -
What USA banks use IACH with Thailand?
bamnutsak replied to jmd8800's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
This is an ACH transfer from Fidelity to WISE? How is the Fidelity username, password, and 2FA handled within the WISE app? Fidelity offers fee-free SWIFT wire transfers, but you need to set up a standing first-party order in person (or with a Medallion guarantee). And you need to call in the transfer each month. I usually call in on/shortly after the first of the month, ~ 20:00 Thai time. Funds are usually deposited at Bangkok Bank the next (working day) in the 09:30 to 13:30 time frame. -
Yes. At least get registered, and add your address. Can reassess end of December, see what people are experiencing or go and ask. Not sure they're doing any sort of proactive "enforcement", so I wouldn't be concerned. In fact, this TM30 system is, IMO, much worse than it was pre-Erawan bombing. With two separate systems and no clear guidance re: re-filing, they'll never be able to find a bad guy.

FAQs New!!... 1. พบปัญหาไม่สามารถค้นหาข้อมูลการแจ้งที่พักอาศัยคนต่างด้าวย้อนหลังเกิน 7 วันได้ Unable to search the notification of residence after 7 days of the check-in date. Answer :According to the policy of Immigration Bureau, the limitation of search cannot be over 7 days of the check-in date, hence, the users will not be able to search any records passed the limited date. Seems like a lame excuse for not being able to search more than -7 days? Not sure I'd know what is "normal" with this new site. It is what it is. We're all experiencing it real time. Was easier to register, and make a filing, than the previous system But the the previous system allowed one to search seven-day periods for a previous filing.
