SCB EasyNet Mobile App logon?
Chivas replied to SurfRider's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
I have just had further Email back from them (they are quick to respond) In short if you're outside of the country simply dont bother because its not going to register. I had made the point I had active roaming enabled and connected via OTP to be told "that makes no difference" (clearly the app can pick up you're roaming) "Come into any branch when you arrived in the Kingdom and we will enable it for you" Over and out as thats pretty definitive it would appear -

Currently its just a nightmare I thought I had regained access (or was about to) with the recovery of my Thai Sim access but as the OP is finding its just impossible to seemingly register Letting the Sim actively roam makes absolutely no difference......I can get past the OTP having entered passport number DOB etc at which point it reverts to the standard 6 digit log in I enter the OTP and it promptly states "we cannot process your request" If I switch to UK Sim or Wifi it produces identical message but with the addition "please try again later" -
Pattaya friend of mine messaged via FB last night....have copied and pasted Hi xxxx saw your post about the location of Aussie Bar on ThaiVisa. Walking down Soi7 its on the left opposite what was the Avatar Bar (now new Luxor I think). Its a standard small rectangular bar. Spent some time there last trip. Owner is a nice lady forget her name. It's the original Aussie Bar originally opposite Flipper House. He added that the Aussie Bar in the cut thro between Soi 7 and Soi 8 is also still there

I havent read the entire thread but there is definately a welfare office at Heathrow for just this situation. It literally only popped up on Sky news few days ago over slightly different issue but the Police guy they were following for the report explained what the office can do. I was very surprised -

SCB really are difficult to deal with. In brief I managed to get my True Sim refitted into a new phone after cutting it. I had literally given up last week as per another thread but suddenly it decides its going to connect and we're away....activate balance check and all good.....send short code to advance validity for 6 months for 12 baht and it goes through normally...right result as it was literally the 11th July it was being terminated from service As it was the registered number for SCB I'm thinking geddon......I send a short code which activates roaming. (It may already have been activated from the past but nonetheless SMS comes through confirming it) SCB had already declined to tell me account balance via their call centre. The Debit card had been changed to a 6 digit code and need to go into a branch to update so no option to pop in into a UK ATM to see if it would display the balance anyway App is on new phone. As there are no other active apps pulling data I activate roaming no problem Open app filling in old Passport number DOB and confirm UK national App clearly finds me and offers up "send OTP to this number" (last 4 digits displayed) Click on yes and wait.....20 seconds later it come through. Thinking right result lol Enter the 6 digit code into App it updates and reverts to log in page identical to old app on other phone asking for the 6 digit code of which I use one of my kids DOB Thinking finally am there lol Nope....."we are unable to process your request at this time" ???? Now it was outside of Thai banking hours and I notice on several threads people have said wait until they are open normally ?? Hopefully it opens up normally Monday morning lol -

Appreciate that is Thailand but you try adding hard cash to a 3rd party account in the UK lol You simply cant and if anyone doubts me go and try it Transfer online no problem Be sneaky and take that 3rd parties debit card into a bank and you "may" get away with it but hard cash NO lol Cracked right down on here even up the Post Office with my own debit card I have to provide other ID to show its me -
Seriously fella and not for the first time pop off and troll elsewhere

Am down in the South West now. Nearest Branch was 800 metres away of Royal Bank of Scotland lol The nearest now is in Basingstoke lol 182 miles from me I only found out when last year went to take £10k out cash and just wanted to notify them in advance On the phone I'm getting Ahh Ahh Ahh Ahh sorry sir the nearest one to you now is Basingstoke ???? They've got an agreement with Nat West as it turned out but RBS had to notify them in advance and I had to upload passport driving licence so Nat West could compare when I went in Not that long ago on a small shopping area close to me (about 400 metres) there were 6 banks or building society.....today there are none

I'm quite happy within the UK to use the Debit Card for virtually everything and cash is hardly ever encountered but I'm not using one routinely within Thailand for a whole myriad of reasons Edited in as regards cashless society......in the UK my nearest bank branch is now 182 miles away lol....I assure you am not joking

Fair play. I had to sign those forms for mother back in 2021. I was not particulary "close" to my mother it would be fair to say but the Dr explaining the process in her home with myself present (and fortunately another brother lol) was not a pleasant experience once the GP had left ! Most "difficult" day I ever had with mother and there were literally 100's down the decades

To the OP three simple words "Pound Cost Averaging" or in your case the Euro If you're happy with the current rate change the monies, If it further rises change more and "Euro Cost average" Its win win.....however do nothing whatsoever and the rate subsequently drops from the current level then its simply lose lose

Indeed lol Its particularly annoying as the loss of Sim access was down to me "refitting" to size for a different phone The Sim was fine previously as obviously was the access
