  1. I think he truly believes this in his tiny malfunctioning mind and the current "lawfare" he is waging against those who issued an arrest warrant aainst Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant, and of course for disagreeing with him, and this item spells it out clearly.... "Amal Clooney could be barred from entering the US by Donald Trump, according to reports. The British human rights barrister, who is married to actor George Clooney, could be sanctioned by the US President after a panel she sat on recommended an arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on war crimes charges in Gaza. Lawyers involved in the International Criminal Court’s (ICC) decision to issue the warrant, including Baroness Kennedy of The Shaws and Lord Justice Adrian Fulford, have been warned by the British Foreign Office they could be barred from the US, the Financial Times reports. It is currently unclear whether Clooney has been cautioned, but she was a member of the panel that recommended prosecutor Karim Khan issue an arrest warrant for Netanyahu . In February, Trump used an executive order to sanction Khan (Karim Asad Ahmad Khan is a British lawyer who has served as Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court since 2021). Our banning him and his family from the country and seizing his US assets, and warned further measures could follow against “those responsible for the ICC’s transgressions”. He claimed the court had “engaged in illegitimate and baseless actions targeting America and our close ally Israel”. Vengeance is mine sayeth the ruler of the world. Muppet.
  2. LOL......"The great comeback". Some stats regarding trumps 'winning ways"........ US stock markets took a hit in the first 100 days of Trump’s second term. It is the biggest drop seen this early in any presidential term in the last two decades. This follows Trump’s attacks on the head of the independent Federal Reserve - which his aides have urged him to soften - and uneven rollout of tariffs, including in an area mainly inhabited by penguins. Trump has visited a golf club nearly every weekend Trump has spent nearly every weekend at a golf course, according to a review of his schedule, media reports and publicly available information. In 2011, Trump complained that Obama “plays golf to escape work while America goes down the drain”. Later, Trump wrote, “Can you believe that, with all of the problems and difficulties facing the US, President Obama spent the day playing golf.” In 2016, as Trump sought to make the leap from reality TV celebrity to commander in chief, he told supporters in Virginia he “may never see” his golf courses and properties again. “Because I’m going to be working for you, I’m not going to have time to go play golf.” Yeah right!!! And the gullible and "poorly educated" still fall for his lies. Never in all of my decades on this earth would I believe that so many Americans could be so foolish as to fall for the lies of this grifter, felon and multi-bankrupt, but since when has "common sense" been a strong point of the Yanks?
  3. Not only is Trump in "ragged retreat" he doesn't look well at all, and the thinning hair doesn't help one bit, although he tries to hide the fact with comb-overs and gel. I wonder how long he will last? Then of course is the promise that he would stop the war in Ukraine in one day and look how that's gone, with Putin playing him like a puppet, despite Donny saying, "stop that Mr Putin" (very menacing – – yeah right). I quote below...... "Russian commentators highlighted that Trump is unlikely to bring the war in Ukraine to an end within his first 100 days in office, a timeline voiced in January by Trump’s envoy to Ukraine, retired Lieutenant General Keith Kellogg. “Putin’s truce on Victory Day means that no general, long-term truce will be declared in April. This means that the negotiations are far from over. Russia is defending its demands at the negotiations,” pro-Kremlin political analyst Sergei Markov said in a Telegram post. “And this means that Trump will not declare a truce in Ukraine on his 100th day in office.” Winning again???
  4. I have Skype loaded on my PC (Windows 10) and use this medium to call my Bank and relatives in Australia using the microphone plugged into my PC. I don't really want to have to use my very old iPhone 5 SE to load up an App so what is a PC based alternative?? Thanks.
  5. Well she is not fond of the corpulent clown esp after the Stormy Daniels escapade and the goings on with young girls at Epstein locations!! So maybe she is hoping...........
  6. LOL, as the song goes........"it's only words, and words are all I have........" and that about sums trump up!!
  7. Below is not unexpected as the approval rates are befitting a clown who doesn't know how to run a casino, let alone a country!! In truth he couldn't run a bath!! "Donald Trump’s approval ratings have fallen to the lowest level for any president in 70 years ahead of his 100th day in office. Voters have turned against the president amid concerns over the impact of his tariffs, his handling of foreign policy and even immigration. Trump’s approval rating has plummeted to 41% – the lowest for any newly elected president since Dwight Eisenhower and below the president’s own first term, according to one CNN poll. The April survey of 1678 adults found that Trump’s popularity ratings were down 4% since March and seven points since February, with just 22% saying they strongly approve of his presidency so far and 45% saying they strongly disapprove. Trump’s score for managing the economy has fallen five points to a career low of 39% with only half of Americans expressing confidence in his ability".
  8. A great and well structure post @WorriedNoodle. Thanks.
  9. United States President Donald Trump criticised Vladimir Putin after holding one-on-one talks with Ukraine’s leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy in St Peter’s Basilica saying “maybe he doesn’t want to stop the war”…….doh, not too bright are you donny boy!
  10. So the "uncomfortable truth" is staring the US public in the face, courtesy of Fox News and IMO it is only going to get worse, mainly because of America's huge indebtedness and the fact that poor old trump really doesn't have much in the way of grey matter and it is very clearly outlined in the following opinion piece, again from my local newspaper: – "How America’s indebtedness is trimming Donald Trump’s wings. We live in a world so turbulent, the only certainty is the existence of uncertainty. However, we can be mildly assured that some guardrails remain in place that are constraining the wrecking ball that is United States President Donald Trump. We aren’t talking laws, agreements or institutions. Rather, these guardrails are comprised of investors from around the world that the US Government is indebted to – the “bond vigilantes”. Trump needs interest rates to fall to stimulate growth and ease the cost of servicing the US’ big pile of government debt. Yet the more brazen he gets with tariff policies and threats to erode the independence of the Federal Reserve, the riskier he makes investing in US Government debt, otherwise known as bonds or treasuries. If investors believe they’re taking on more risk, they’ll demand higher returns. Given the US’ net debt is nearing 100% of Gross Domestic Product its interest costs are material. Indeed, they’re so eye-watering, a spike in US Government bond yields a fortnight ago pushed Trump to announce a 90-day pause on his proposed tariff hikes for countries other than China".
  11. Sadly trump has completely stuffed up his promise to end the war in 24 hrs, but then lying comes easy to him as he has been practising it most of his life.....I saw this great opinion piece in my local newspaper, so thought I would share it because it really is "spot on" as the saying goes................ "To see the true face of Donald Trump, look no further than Ukraine. Laid bare in his handling of that issue are not only his myriad weaknesses, but also the danger he poses to his own country and the wider world – to say nothing of the battered people of Ukraine itself. Don’t be fooled by the mild, vaguely theatrical rebuke Trump issued to Vladimir Putin on Thursday after Moscow unleashed a deadly wave of drone strikes on Kyiv, killing 12 and injuring dozens: “Vladimir, STOP!” Pay attention instead to the fact that, in the nearly 100 days since Trump took office, the US has essentially switched sides in the battle between Putin’s Russia and democratic Ukraine, backing the invaders against the invaded. On Friday, Trump’s real-estate buddy and special envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, held talks in Moscow with Putin. But any resemblance between the US and an honest broker is purely coincidental. On the contrary, previous encounters between the two men resulted in Witkoff parroting Kremlin talking points, essentially endorsing Russia’s claim to the Ukrainian territory it seized. In that, Witkoff was merely following the lead set by his boss: the supposed peace deal Trump is now in a hurry to seal amounts to handing Putin almost everything he wants and demanding Ukraine surrender". Trump is so obviously scared of Putin and won't take any action against him; is that because Putin has something over him.....like some incriminating pics for instance (golden showers from a previous visit??).
  12. Something to add now that I have watched the final episode of "The Narrow Road to the Deep North".......I had always known about the terrible and inhumane treatment the Japanese inflicted on POWs and others whom they "conquered" and at one time in my life after visiting the Peace Park at Nagasaki, I vowed that nothing like that (the bombing) should never happen again. However again seeing the inhumane /brutal treatment dished out by the Japanese, and including that done to the citizens of Nanking, I now could not be persuaded from thinking that the bar stewards got exactly what they deserved......the Japanese in general paid for the crimes of their soldiers. So be it. The series overall was good, but nothing outstanding IMO and made for a solemn viewing over two nights.
  13. I was using pycnogenol for a few years and although it was expensive, I kept buying and taking it to try and cure my BPH, which it didn't. Later I tried to find an alternative and found out that pycnogenol was a trademarked name and was processed specifically from French maritime pine bark, using a patented process – – which meant that no other manufacturer could sell something of the same name even though it came from the same tree. Somewhere I did have information about a similar product which tested favourably but which couldn't be called pycnogenol, but could be called "pine bark extract" or similar, but I've lost that information in years of computer mishaps, and the best I could find is the following which appears to have similar properties and may be worth a try..... https://mb.cision.com/Public/20679/4058674/a211c74441b287ef.pdf
  14. I too grimace when I read the anti-vaccination nonsense and the nonsense about there being no such thing as a virus or bacteria and it makes my blood boil. I too was born in the UK just after the Second World War and remember getting the MMR vaccination and my mother was very pleased that I did, however polio was still around in those days and I had many experiences with kids who had contracted it, so my mother was extremely pleased when the vaccination became available for polio sometime in the mid-50s. But already the effects of polio on children were all around us and the leg irons and wheelchairs were a common sight. In fact I spent the first seven years or so of my school life being the "carer" for a boy called Peter who had contracted polio and was paralysed from the waist down, pushing him around in his wheelchair in the two schools that we went to. I also remember other kids with leg irons on and in those days I wondered what had caused this, and of course as the information about polio and the vaccine to prevent it became available, it became quite clear. One of the saddest times was when I was in my teens and there was a particular coffee shop in my town which kids of my age would use as a meeting place, and in that coffee shop I met a quite lovely/very attractive girl who would have been about 17 or 18 and she had contracted polio and she was basically paralysed from the waist down so she wore the leg irons, but she had a great personality and didn't seem to let it bother her. Furthermore her parents were fairly wealthy, so they bought her a little three wheeler car (similar to the Reliant Robin I think) and adapted it so that she could basically drive it (don't ask me how) and that's how she came to visit our coffee shop. I hadn't seen her for a while and wondered as to her whereabouts, and it was then that I heard she had died, having crashed the little car and being trapped in it because of her leg irons, and was burnt to death – – poor girl. So all in all, I don't have good memories of polio and I'm so pleased that I was able to get vaccinated and the amount of vaccinations I've had over my life, including quite a few for tetanus for injuries, and from football, and various vaccinations for diseases when I worked overseas in Africa, have probably saved my life. I haven't counted how many but it would easily be in double figures. I admire the posters on here who take the time to do their research and explain the ins and outs of vaccines and vaccinations and the stats which are provided, including trying to disprove the absolute nonsense which is posted, but as can be seen, it is an uphill task trying to educate those that cannot be educated.
  15. Following on from my post, "The World will Tremble" in which I mentioned the Nazi death/concentration camps, I started to watch the series "The Narrow Road to the Deep North" and the brutal treatment of prisoners by the Japanese was also a very grim feature of the series. I haven't watched the full series yet, but will finish it over the next couple of nights and no doubt there is more cruelty to come, and this made me think about how war seems to turn every day average citizens into brutal murderous fiends. As for the Japanese treatment of prisoners of war, well it wasn't just confined to POWs, because if one reads the book, "The Rape of Nanking" then not only does that outline the heinous crimes committed by the Japanese (ripping unborn babies out of pregnant mothers and parading them around on the end of their bayonets) it also contains some gruesome pics. Iris Chang, the author who researched this particular book and others relating to the Japanese treatment of Chinese folk, later committed suicide and it was posited that the depression she had been fighting for quite some time was as a direct result of the research she did into these atrocities.
