But you have to pay for your deportation, IDC will keep him locked up until he can pay for the ticketOverstay bit might work hand himself in explain he can't pay overstay fine then deportation to UK. Might be an option
Then that's when embassy steps in and if they don't then the papers will be interested

In his 30's with absolutely NOBODY back in the UK that could assist? There's a long-winded thread running somewhere else started by some Belgian who's allegedly shit out of luck, money, friends, family and replete physical impairments.
The new TV management should consider a forum like the personal ads inside the back page of Private Eye... "Need funding, hopeless case, nobody cares, [bank sort code and account number appended]"
Mmm hope you never get down on your luck who knows what's round the corner

Always used smoke to clear the things don't need a lot try keeping a little fire going whilst outside and throw the odd soaked pice of wood on it does work. I use a used tin bean can little twigs and a supply of well soaked twigs for smoke and sit it close to us whilst sitting out.

Forget the obsession people have over the photo fit it's just a hopeful exercise if people see even the slightest resemblance they will contact police and hopefully as it seems in this case it worked those from UK remember the Yorkshire rippers photo fit !!!!!!!

Went in to offices found a very helpful lady.

Proof of residency
Sellers signed I'd and house book copies and his signed permission for me to be power of attorney for him.
No queue for vin checks showed them paper re changing plates thumb up all done in 3 mins went into offices.
Went with book to read for long haul went back to friendly lady she smiled and looked at all paper work great she said all here there's a change for a ferang! ! 1 hour later I was driving out of center with new number plates and blue book in my name.

I have asked this question a lot as my wife's family do this in Issan village all seem to sleep in same room although there are at least 5 bedrooms vacant. Answer it is just done no rhyme or reason just is what it is and strangely enough despite my reservations it works very well and I'm happy to go with the flow.

7700 baht for a revised dieselpump, nuzzles and also a new waterpump which is hard to reach.
Welcome to Thailand.
And then still complaint of course.
This would have costed 80.000 where i come from. With warranty of course.
Thought you might come from thailand now as you choose to live here just a thought !!!

Can get visa change in Pattaya you hand in paper work and they send it to Bangkok I think and I may be wrong I read somewhere Kor at does the same. Sure someone will know. I did mine based on retirement for this year within the first 60 day entry visa got a triple in Hull just in case. Will be moving over to based on marriage next year. Just easier for me will be moving up to khon kaen before then so I will have all my soldiers in a line by next Nov. For it to go smoothly at Khon Kaen immigration with any luck.

Bit like freedom of speech we should all have that right some don't and never will but safety is your own responsibility one can never be 100% safe not even tucked up in your bed behind locked doors nowadays but with a bit of pre planning you can be as safe as you can be. Pre planning doesn't mean full on security checking for bombs and full surveillance. But if your going out for a drink or three make sure you have a safe way of getting home or if you know a certain area is not good after a certain time don't go there even if the beer makes you feel invincible. As for the right to feel safe in Thailand Yes you have the same right as a Thai National no more no less. We all have the right to have a good drip session (moan) and for someone to say your a foreigner put up with it is aload of tosh. if you break the laws of the country then you take the punishment of the country then you have to put up with it your choice your consequences.

IF that is the case and I bow to your take on that. We live in Thailand corruption bribery is the norm. How ever for me to give a gift of 200Bht for no favours but because the person has dealt with me in what I deem to be fantastic customer service is as I said at the start good public relations

Not where I served there not still going strong. Cash sure I got given cash and declared it to my sergeant who in turn informed who ever he needed to but I will also add any cash I was given whilst serving in the form of gifts or thanks went straight to a charity. But I know what your trying to say bribery imigration officers are not police so your innuendo has no thrust to it.

As it would happen now retired yes every Xmas always gave our village Bobby a bottle or chicken. And when I followed suit I was given a good few thank you tips.

So Embassy here must be different from other Embassies then seen this situation a few times all over the world and always the British Embassy has been there for people especially on two occasions where mental health issues were involves. Personally I would go to Embassy explain problems if they refuse help sit there don't move remember Embassy is British soil therefore cannot be arrested by Thai Police. Make sure someone goes with him with a camera. But I don't belive it will go that far I belive there would be help in the case of mental problems
