You cannot just purchase a non "O" visa !
The basis of your friends visa application will influence where it is best applied for
-
On what basis would your friend be applying for this non "O" visa ?
Such visas cannot just be "bought" the applicant has to qualify for the visa !
-
So, although my Multiple O is expired but my last entry still valid, I need some transfer stamp in my new passport ? Thank you, this is all confusing.
You have no stamps which can or will be transferred. Just hand both passports to the IO on the way out !

Isn't the paper slip the only item to confirm that the reporting was done and/or the date when the next reporting is due.? The OP had no reasons to doubt the First (May 25) IO.For anyone doing the reporting after reading this post (sorry OP probably not going to help you): Could we check the status of the 90-report using the online tool (see pic below)Presumably that's only for applications lodged online. Since you don't receive any reference number when you do the reporting in person at immigration, it seems unlikely you can check your reporting status. Unless, of course you can check by entering your passport details.
Only for reports made on line !

Unless the OP can produce some definitive evidence of Thai heritage I fear he is chasing a dream .

1. An O/A visa cannot be renewed in Thailand these visas are only obtainable from your country of origin
2. Only a 7 day extension can be obtained from immigration.
Your best option is to leave Thailand by air or via a land border. On return you will if receive a 30 day visa exempt entry which can be extended by 30 days at an immigration office.

By going to Imigration as we all do.
I find that hard to believe!
Despite going to immigration many times they have never given me a "retirement visa" only an "extension of stay -based on retirement.
How do I persuade the immigration officers to give me a "retirement visa " ?
-
I came in on triple visa (did not use all in end got retirement visa quicker than intended) any worked it all out first visa 90 days with 30 day extension border run 2nd visa just 60 days border run 3rd 90 days with extension total 240 days roughly 8 months did it that way to get the last visa in before 6 mth expired.
How did you acquire the "retirement visa" ?

You will have to do a search for insurance companies which offer Health Insurance.
I doubt that anything other than 12 month policies will be on offer.

Using Chrome you should download IE TB

Open the Immigration 90 day report website in IE Tab and it will work !

You were misinformed,What you have is an "extension of stay" based on retirement,Separately you have a multiple reentry permit.Check your passport.- 1

The Thai Government are not making it difficult to obtain a tourist visa Many people obtain tourist visas every day.
If you want a double entry tourist visa travel to Vientiane and apply for one...
The "agency" you spoke to provided poor advice/information.

I am unsure if you will be able to get a reentry permit when flying domestic at Don Muang. Most likely not. The desk is after entering the area for international flights but before the passport check. I do not think it is possible to reach the reentry permit desk without a boarding card for an international flight.
I also doubt you can get a reentry permit right at the border at Sadao. There is probably a full service immigration office somewhere in Hat Yai that could do it.
If you want an easy life, fly to Penang from Don Muang.
Yes, now I think about it you a probably correct ...........

If your wife only has Indian nationality it might be a problem.
Suggest you seek advice from the Thai Embassy or one of the Consulates.

If you really have a valid visa a re entry permit is not required.
My visa is valid and real and I have read about the need for such a permit and in fact got one at the airport last year when I was on the same visa and left Thailand to go on holiday. So I a not sure what you're trying to say.
Where did you get the "visa" from ?
A Thai Embassy or Consulate outside Thailand or from a Thai immigration office ?
CW Immigration
You have an extension of stay (which is not a Visa) based on retirement!
Re entry permits can be obtained from CW or either of the two Bangkok airports on departure.
I do not know if re entry permits are available at the border.

As far as I know there is no restriction on Israeli citizens applying for a tourist visa in nearby countries.
Perhaps you should speak to a different travel agent.

Look for flights to Kuala Lumpur or Penang.
Americans can enter Malaysia visa exempt.

i hope in novenber they let me in , after a 60 days extension
Will you have a visa or are you seeking a visa exempt entry ?

follow the leader to cambodia or vietnam, i think not.
simply get a proper visa.
Usual non helpful TV reply, sigh
Is a Tourist Visa not a "proper visa" anymore or have the rules changed?
A tourist visa is indeed a "proper" visa if it is obtained from a Thai Embassy/Consulate outside Thailand
A "visa exempt entry" which many mistakenly refer to as a "tourist visa " is not a "proper" visa !

Get Thai citizenship.
Thats even harder than finding a Thai I can trust : (
With that attitude, may I suggest that you're in the wrong country.
Why? I live here and I dont trust any Thais. I dont trust any farangs here either for that matter.
I dont need to earn money but I can see many splendid opportunities for starting a business here, and if I could do it on my own I might well be tempted. But go into partnership with anyone here? Not in a million years.
Why live in a country where no one can be trusted ?
-
IF that is the case and I bow to your take on that. We live in Thailand corruption bribery is the norm. How ever for me to give a gift of 200Bht for no favours but because the person has dealt with me in what I deem to be fantastic customer service is as I said at the start good public relations
Do you tip the post office clerk and the 7-11 shop assistant for "fantastic" service?

That does not assist !
Savannakhet are known to refuse to issue "O" visas to some applicants.
