Clutch is separate from the transmission. First letter only deals with the transmission control module. Second letter seems to say that if the seals leak, and oil gets on the clutch, they will replace these parts. In the diagram above - clutch is on the left, transmission on the right. Bottom LH points to the clutch assembly - works the same as a manual transmission clutch - interrupts the power between engine and transmission to facilitate gear changes.

Says in both letters - your dealer - whether this means where you bought the car, if purchased new, or any Ford dealer am not sure. But if I had to guess they want it done at a Ford dealer if you want them to pay for it. As I am sure you do !

The consensus here in the North - if you keep the knobbies and really get on the dirt trails - the KLX is the one to get. If you are more street biased - Super Motard style - the CRF is the one. Rented both for a week, ended up with the CRF250M. Work in progress.

Cans of metallic paint - not much hope I would say. Why not visit some custom paint shops where they do bikes, helmets, cars, etc. Show them your color, ask if they can duplicate. Do all the prep yourself so it is done to your satisfaction. Show up at shop, wipe down to remove any oil, have them spray.

Heard this discussion for over 15 years. Big bikes OK - how do the Police tell you have a large displacement bike ? If they allowed bikes on Hwy7, all bridges, expressways, imagine that scenario ! Sidecars with belching charcoal smoke, noodle steam, all the Honda Waves with 4 people on them, kids with souped up Novas screaming by at 10,000 RPM. Madness. Only way it would work is to teach children how to ride/drive at an early age, graduated license system, enforce traffic laws. Will this ever happen ? Not in my lifetime - or my childrens if they have not begun before. So - give it a rest. Done to Death.

Fuel Filter ? Fuel Pressure ? Return line OK ? MAF/MAP problem ? Air filter changed so that is OK. This is where I would start. Like all troubleshooting, a process of elimination until the answer is found. Seem your Mitsu dealer is marginal at best, maybe try another dealer, or independant as it is off warranty most likely.

I never use an agent - or at least as seldom as I can get away from it. Even Agoda - get the name of the hotel, Google it, book on the hotel website. Same as car rental. Book thru the company website, not anyone else. You even get a break at times that the agents do not get - or keep to themselves. Never had this problem.

I call BS on this - first he has both feet flat on the road, then they are up on the pegs ... Con Job

The Jews are not the problem in Israel, the Zionists are and they are not all Jews.
Hilarious.
The old we don't hate Jews, we hate Zionists card.
That's a crock.
Every Israel topic here, the Jew hatred is revealed in a CRYSTAL CLEAR way.
You really need to take a look at your attitude toward anyone who voices displeasure with the Israeli governments actions. Along with many other posters on this Forum. I have read some well reasoned, thoughtful, and respectful posts wherein the Government of Israel has been taken to task. These are valid concerns. By pulling the "Hate the Jews" card every time you hear it shows a distinct lack of understanding of the problems, and moreover, how many other people view these actions. To Tar every attack with the hatred card is neither true, fair, or necessary. I do not hate anybody. Why - When you Hate, you Become that which you Hate.

No use trying to explain this to people with limited motorcycle experience. Like the "Cotton Wool" description tho' !

^^^True that. Just refreshing to listen to someone talk about the driving dynamics instead of how the kleenex holder is just the right shade of fuscia to match the headliner.
-
^^^ Agree 100%. Much safer to back in. And MUCH safer to drive out, where you have all the visibility you need. Huge blind spots trying to back out.

Any decent body shop will have the chemicals available to make the paint stick. And you must mix a plasticizer into the paint to make it flexible without cracking. Been doing this since the 70's when the first plastic bumpers (which are not really bumpers, the steel underneath fulfills this purpose) came out so not anything new.

I rented a 4 door pickup and hauled my HD from Jomtien to CNX. So no need for a 2 door model. Tailgate did not close, but 4 ratchet straps and away you go.

Don't listen to all the Bozos, Trash Talkers, Uptight Drones who post on TV. Live your life as you choose. Want True Love - go look for it. Bar Girl, Shop Girl - Nurse ... whatever. Go for it. Taking advice from most people on a public internet forum is like talking to a Ghost. Sure you can hear them - but are they Real ? Is what they say Real ? Or just so much Baloney to muddy the waters, Stir the Pot. Lots of people delight in providing useless information in the hope that someone will take it and act on it. Your Life on Your Terms. No other Way. You Ain't gonna Live Forever.

don't know what you originally posted but you are completely right.
tyre rotation is a myth that should have been killed off many years ago. it might save you a few bucks but could cost you your life.
you always have the best tyres on the back, no matter if you have front wheel drive or rear wheel drive or both, particularly when driving a ute / pick up that is low on weight on the rear axle.
if you drive unloaded, like 90% of all ute drivers do world wide, reduce the tyre pressure on the real 15% BELOW recommended. it will give you a larger footprint and better grip in extreme situations.
a lot of good tyres these days are directional, so you can not cross them over, anyway.
my advice: check your tyre pressure every 14 days and when you only buy 2 new ones, put them on the rear.
Can't agree with this. In a FWD the front tires both steer and accelerate and do 70% of the braking. Rears just along for the ride. And in a RWD the front tires steer, and do the same % of braking. So best tires - FWD RWD AWD - should be on the front.

On the contrary, I think every 'rational' adult knows it's stupid not to wear a helmet. Some just prefer to ignore that fact and ride without one anyway. As I said before, I'm NOT in favor of helmet laws, and I believe each person should have the right to decide for themselves. I'm a huge fan of Darwinsm.
From stupid to irrational. Huge leap. If they have the 'right' - as you said above - bad form to criticise their choice.

Ah True Love - the age old Western Dream. About as real as Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny. If you are searching for it, you are already lost. As lost as looking for False Love, or Stange Love.

Kenny Roberts agrees. Said it was the most scary bike he has ever ridden. And this from the King himself - so must be Bad !

As Above - not going to happen. Law changed a few years ago. Unless you know a General or three. A search of this forum will reveal all. 15 years I have never seen it succeed.
