Thanks for the info FUMO. If someone joined one of these clubs, would you be able to ride your own bike into Vietnam ? Or is it just for residents ov RVN ? Thank you.

Ducati Thailand - bikes - shows 2 models Hypermotard - 939 and 939SP and one Hyperstrada 939. Price list shows the same models, with various prices. Can't see where the confusion is.

As of last week, Nat motors in CNX has a black and blue model on the showroom floor. Easy ride to Laos, then thru Cambodia to Vietnam. English speaking staff available.

One CRF250L. I cannot get it in Dubai and now they stop to make it in Thailand but if you have a lot of time and don't mind wild goose chases it seems there is still one or two hidden away with dealers here in Bangkok.....thanks to anyone who can help.
This model still shows on the AP Honda website. Why do you think it is no longer made here ?

Wow - 12K for a wrap job ? Can't find a painter to do it cheaper, or better quality, and a little different so your bike stands out from all the rest ?

If you are stupid enough to believe they are interested in YOU, then I would say you have a big problem with reality. ALL Thai women have only interest in how much $$ they can extract from you for their family and theirselves. Period.
There is no exception. If they see financial benefit to having a relationship with you, they will pursue it aggressively.
If you operate in Thailand under the assumption you are the one special case this does not apply, you are a fool.
What a Crock. Blanket Statements are never true.

I personally believe the transmission problem has filtered it's way to the resale market which perhaps explains my friend's trade-in offer of 350,000 for a just out of warranty 2012 Ford Focus Titanium with only 12,000 km. He paid over 1M baht just 3 years ago.
Yikes ! That is quite a hit ! Off topic - but like the GM ignition switch cluster ---- ! Cheaper to Deny Deny.

In a rear ender you have almost 2 meters before the passenger compartment is hit.
Do you though? what's to say the rear tub won't just sheer it's mounts and act as it's own super-rigid battering ram?
At a guess - the ladder style steel frame, with cross members, which the box is bolted to. Chances of this ever happening - nil.

To me - a no brainer. Pickups are bigger, so they have larger crumple zones to absord impact. In a rear ender you have almost 2 meters before the passenger compartment is hit. They are higher, so the little econo cars will tend to go under you, not through you. You may flip over, but the structural integrity of the cab is such that if wearing lap belts and shoulder harness you have a good chance to escape injury. Along with the air bags if so equipped. Have a NV for town, and a Teana, and a Vigo. Feel safer in the Vigo, but the Nissan is way more fun to drive, and the NV can't be beat for small sois in the city, parking, just more handy in town.

Ride a PCX for town chores, but more than 70K. Many folks here like the Yamaha GT125. Memory serves - about 40-45K. Can't beat that - full auto for not much more than a Honda Wave, and lots easier to ride in the big city.

Thanks. Still waiting for the borders to loosen up a bit then. Been wanting to visit since I moved to Thailand 15 years ago. But want to ride/drive my own wheels.
