E85 is New School 19 a liter and don't wait all day to fill up. [emoji3]
You may be mistaking LPG for CNG. I have never had to wait at all to fill LPG
But driving by the CNG stations, and seeing the lineups, I would not go down that road.
And as was posted above, 1/2 price compared to 95 on a baht per km cost

You don't need to replace the dash electronics to upgrade the sound in a car
There are plenty of solutions that will allow you to simply replace the OEM speakers, and/or DSP and/or amplification, without changing any other characteristics of the infotainment system.
Agree. Aftermarket most always better quality, many more options, Most head units function as a pre-amp only, amplification, equilization handled by downstream devices.
Bose I have found over-rated, altho' I did own 2 pair of 901 series 1's, and a pair of 250 watt per channel power amps to drive them.

who cares where a bike is made or any other item for that matter ,whats more important is a high level of QC and after sales care/service........
Bought a Platinum in 2007. Everyone laughed. Still runs. Needed a battery, tires, and a voltage regulator. Along with dielectric grease, Loctite, Nylocks. Remember when 'Made in Japan' meant cheap, short lived, poor quality ? Chinese are coming up - other brands better watch out.

Should have gone with a Canadian system. Lower cost overall and covers all. But probably not for another 100 years.
Medicare is popular though.
The Canadian system was good in years past, but going downhill fast. Reason - ageing population and funding shortfalls.
Back in the day it was top notch, but the waiting lists are growing, and people with the means are opting for a split system i.e. waiting times now for an MRI can be 6 months.
I needed a simple non-invasive procedure, and waited over 6 months for treatment. Reason - they had one Doctor in Vancouver who did it, and he was on Vacation !! Find another ?? Sorry, he is the guy we use.

If Benelli is Chinese then Nissan is French....
And Honda, Triumph, BMW, are Thai !!!
Made in Rayong !!!

The 2.2L 4-pot diesel actually makes for an even quieter interior when driving. I guess the 5-pot's warble is a little harder to cancel out.
Always going to be a chore to cancel out harmonics with an odd number of cylinders. No opposing piston travelling the opposite direction to negate those vibes.

Coming back from Malaysia one of our group shipped his HD from Hua Hin. No damage. Cheap.

Most auto manufacturers out-source these - I have vehicles where they are made by Hitachi, to name just one.
Remove it - or get the model number off it, and have a look.

If you mean the monthly sales report figures we all get - yes - commercial & fleet sales are included, and I can also tell you that around 2/3rds of monthly Altis sales are taxis.
So if you want a car with a never-ending supply of spare parts, and spare cars ... Buy an Altis !!!

The bottom line is, the end result only looks as good as the preparation work allows.
Most def. Buddy back in the West paints cars - mostly show cars and street rods. OK paint job - $7000 Want Black ? Double it.
Prep being the main reason. It has to be dead straight.

Thanks for that. Did not know.

Whenever I get the Focus serviced, they always put a half full one liter jug in the trunk, boot to some of you. The dip stick always shows full exactly to the line and never over the line.
Big part of living anywhere is finding a mechanic who is good. The West same as Europe same as here. My go-to guy is an ex Nissan service manager. Does work at home just to keep busy. New clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, bleed hydraulic clutch circuit and replace fluid - 2600 baht. Try doing that anywhere else for that kind of money.

You know you have a winner when others make what amounts to a clone of your product

I remember reading this recently. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apostherapy Might be another alternative worth investigating.
Thanks for the link

No experience, but did a lot of research in Canada last summer shopping for International coverage.
Bupa was recommended as their rates will be fixed over the course of my lifetime. 61 now, and the quote was $9000 Cdn and change per year so 225,000 baht.
Worldwide coverage, 10 million if memory serves.

Personally, I think the claims for 100% synthetics are overstated, and I would feel uncomfortable with oil changes at 20,000 km. So I specify a semi-synthetic, and change it every 10,000 km. Works fine for me.
Agree. But don't use semi myself in the car. Off the shelf 10w30, change with filter 5000km Bikes full syn, 5000km. Only use a liter plus so cost OK
Little off topic but Greyhound - back in the day - would clean their bus oil, add an additive package, and reuse. It is the additives that break down, the oil itself just gets dirty.

^ Soi dog eliminator ?

Belt final drive.
Many good things about this bike. Duck has given some real thought to how this bike will be used by many different riders. Adjustable bars, footpegs, optional semi rearsets, seating options. Don't know of another manufacturer who offers this. Nice one.

LOL .. Good thread mate ! Deja Vu ..
I asked on the other forum, what do you use to stitch yourself up with, fishing line ?
Had my ultra light tackle with me, so had some 2 pound test. Wiped out over 100km from the nearest help. Rock tore the base of my left hand from palm thru the base of the thumb and down to my wrist. Could see bones easy - very white and shiny ! Would not stop bleeding. Four stitches, gauze pad, tape. and good to go. Duct tape the glove back together and head back. Got a nice scar in the bargain. Doctor removed the 2 pound, put 4 nylon stitches in, sent me home. Good job he said.

Had good luck with our mining equipment using wheel bearing grease. Does not wash out - even on loaders that spend all summer in the water. Just make sure that you remove and replace before it freezes. Grease mixes with the water, but no galling or spalling.

Just saw this ad in classifieds - awesome price !

Do you carry one ? When touring far from home. Anything special in it that is not commonly seen.
I always carry 4 of the sealed suture needles with thread, Found that they work better than a fishhook.
